When I post/read in Nikon items for sale??
Had a Russian twin lens in 1960 then privileged to use all of Nikons products as required for a few years in the 70's then bridge cameras on and off until......
Felt I owed Nikon so bought a new D3500 and then updated that to my current D5600 with an 18/140 lens which is my swan song camera.

I still use Elements 5 (20 years old?) for basic moves!
However I'm surprised to see that all the older versions seem to be £20 plus on EBay!
So go free and choose one of the many suggestions ;)
For info:- I still use (very occasionally!) Elements 2 and 5.
They have been on all our PCs since they were first published leading up to our current Windows 11 machines both Home and Pro.
I'm a Capture One user after using various free ones over the years.
I only update this type of programme...

Have tried MS but as already suggested it seems to be a No No!
Tim I have looked at Photprism but not been able to make any sense of it.....but will try harder!
Thank you both.
No, but Thankyou ;)
I title in Capture One but just save in specific folders.
Holidays/Events/Places.
All titled What, When and Where.
Sadly I'm much too late to start doing things the sensible way.
Again Thanks.

Example..... Type 'Birds' or 'Trees' and it would find appropriate images containing the subjects to a reasonable degree.
MS forums simply state that MS have dropped it.
Are there any free...
Nice to see such good advice;)
My older brother spent a short but exciting time at the Suez crisis.
My time was spent in and around Europe.
We both wore Gunner cap badges for most, but not all, of our careers.
My father in law was a Gunner with wartime horses.
My own father was in the navy...
