Hi all, I've been using Elements 13 for a number of years on my PC with no problems , had PC rebuilt and now when I insert the elements disc I get a message saying I must sign in to Adobe , this continues in a loop when I try to open elements , keep signing in and it just keeps asking me to sign in ? Done a bit of research and it seems Elements 13 servers have been shut down so they won't authenticate the disc ! Anyone else had similar or know of a work around . Bit out of order I think!
Cheers

Purely for interest!
I've run Elements 2 and 5 loaded via CDs from the beginning.
Obviously only run 5 now but each log in asks for registration but offers a 'Now or Later' which is a simple click to start.
It was registered when new and I have even tried later via various new PCs. but the one click option is all I get!
I still use it for various niche actions that I find easier than more recent alternatives.
Last installs on 3 new PC/Laptop in the last 12 months.
I have certainly heard of your problem with later versions over the years but sadly I can't offer a solution.

Have you tried contacting Adobe? I would hope they are able to help as it would seem to be only the initial verification that you have a licensed copy that you need. I don't think Elements needs access to Adobe servers after that?

It may be that you really want to continue to use Elements because you like it but just to say that my Dad used Elements and then had a pause from photography and when he came back to it had an issue that he no longer had the ability to reinstall Elements (lost the disk or whatever). He tried Darktable (free) and actually thought it a lot better than Elements. However, I totally get that you might be very happy with the package you have (which no doubt you've invested time to learn)
