Perfect, hopefully that will have the flash sorted, thanks. In my total despair I didnt even think of looking on ebay and I could not even remember it was called the hot shoe!!!!
My camera (canon 5D) fell over tonight and the flash (canon 430ex) broke of the top, breaking on side of the bracket on top and one side off the bottom of the flash:(
Anyone if these are repairable? If so where?
I am gutted, more so as we have a 7 day old daughter:bang:
I just went for a Hoya 77mm PRO1 Digital Circular PL Filter from amazon. They are very reasonable at the moment at £65, that over £30 better than on camerapricebuster:

Unfortunately my CPL Filter came apart at the weekend, I have just ordered a new one, but it made me think, is there a need for a CPl when using filters such as the 10 stop? I guess using a ND grad some of the image will still have glare? Having never compared using a ND etc without a CPL I...
I had the Sigma 50-150mm and found it good, although I then sold it when I got the canon 50mm f1.4 as I found the pictures from the F1.4 really had that wow factor compared. Further down the line I have added the Canon 135mm f2.
I think the question is if the OP is wanting one lens to do all...
I have a similiar set up:
5D with 35mm F2
7d with 135mm F2
And the Canon 50mm F1.4 to swap between as needed.
I am convincing myself I dont need the 85mm:thumbs:
Yes, I was eyeing up the 35mm, but couldn't afford it or justify it. I just bought a 35mm F2 to see how it goes, although I think the 1.4L is in a different league.
