Wahey! I got a excellent condition used 35mm 1.4L for £670. How awesome is that!

Yep. He was a nice guy wasn't he? I wanted the 85 too but I spent all me money. The 14 was nice too, he let me have a play with it on the 1ds iii. Hope he doesn't regret selling all his gear for an m9.
 
Yes, I was eyeing up the 35mm, but couldn't afford it or justify it. I just bought a 35mm F2 to see how it goes, although I think the 1.4L is in a different league.

Just from the test shots it amazing. I got it for weddings primarily but I think it will spend most of the time on my 5d. I'm turning into a prime-a-holic methinks
 
Just sent the guy an email for the 14mm. Hope he still has it. Any idea if he posts or not?

Well done on the 35mm and the 135mm. Two lenses I really want too.

If you decide you don't want them, I'll take them off your hands for a reasonable price :P

(I'm not at all bitter and twisted and don't personally lust after a 135mm + 35mm combo at all. No GAS jealousy here, no no no.)

Thinking in the foreseeable future of getting the 85 1.8 and another ff body for a good wedding combo and the 1.2 is a lot and the 135 is perhaps a bit long. I have a 100 on me crop so I got the distance candids fairly sorted.

get the sigma 85mm instead. Its nicer than the 1,.8 and not as much as the 1.2
