Well we're in the process of emigrating to New Zealand and she's getting a 3 month holiday as part of that whilst I write my book. I'm thinking that can trade off with a lot of weekend trips to Melbourne over the next few years.

Most local papers will offer to credit you instead of paying you. You wouldn't normally be credited for paid images. ...... I hope you're getting paid!

You can never go over the price of a one day travel card so you don't need too much. Depends on what zones you go to, a tenner should do easily for a day if you're only going to be in Central, that's the price of a zone 1-4 card. You can always top it up at a machine so best to get a bit less...

From personal experience, whilst getting a new body is always nice the real deal breaker when it comes to producing first class results is the glass.
