Hi All...
I go to South Africa on 6th July - 27th July...
I've phoned loads of insurance companies and the only people who go above £300 (per single item) is Lloyds TSB.
Lloyds want £64 which will cover me up to £2500 total baggage and £750 per single item. I thought that is brilliant... because I will be taking the following:
Anyway, none of the other items come to more than £750. I thought, brilliant!!
However - when I asked about my policy, they said my camera equipment will be classed as "1 group" which equates to a SINGLE ITEM!!
They have to go kidding me, I have at least £1300 of camera kit (excluding bag, filter, memory cards spare batteries etc)...
What do you guys do about insurance?
I've contacted my home insurance, but because I have contents insurance (and live in shared accomodation [a house share]) they will not cover me abroad! Grrrr!!
