I bet it was after spending £3000 on a standard lens... LOL
We can't all use the bottom of Coke bottles and light the subject with our genius like you. You barely process as you get it right in camera, ok Ken Rockwell LOL.

But life would be boring if we stuck to debating the facts. It's much more interesting if we can just make s*** upI wouldn't mind if I actually said anywhere, ever, that I never process images. LOL

Where's the fun in: Man with camera sometimes doesn't process shots if the job isn't important enough to justify it.
No-one is going to get anywhere pulling that apart.
However if a job is important enough to shoot in raw its important enough to process properly
Process properly? That would be with PMK Pyro or Rodinal!
Steve.
Off topic I know, but it is "bear with me"...... but bare with me. (Or is that bear, I'm never sure.)
When I got married I did ask for raw files and the whole album of prints. As much as I was happy with the result delivered my wife and I also loved editing few more we liked to have. Net: never a way to save money, but having the extra pictures in the package is reasonable
i'd be willing to bet they didnt provide every image they took - I've had clients say they want every image - they get 3-500 renumbered to run sequentially
- no one but me sees the s*** ones
Correct me if I'm wrong, but ever since I've started studying photography and shooting in raw, the impression I always got that raw will always be a bit flatter in colour and contrast or exposure, even if all settings are correct and the photographer did get everything right in camera. My experience than agreed with this notion, so I always make sure I adjust the exposure/colour/contrast where necessary.
