Anyone else got the general error (3 red sections)?
This is my 2nd Xbox and rather annoyed about it. However online I read a post about wrapping it in a towel turning it on and leaving it to overheat, then let it cool down and turn it back on. Surprisinging this worked....!!!
But then when watching a HD-DVD it died again, so today I wrapped it in a duvet, and accidentally left it in there for about 50 minutes... lets say when i remembered and went to remove it, it was very very hot.
But its now working again.. It just doesnt make sense (like most Microsoft Products).

Bloody pieces of junk. 'Luckily' the first two died within months so Game swapped them over the counter without a grumble. The one with the dodgy drive tray is back in it's box, in the loft as a spare. I went and bought an 'arcade' system last week and shoved my harddrive on it. It's definately a fair bit quieter than the other two and seems to run cooler. (Finger crossed.)
