Quite a few years ago as students we watched a film about the 'right to vote'. Some aristocratic knob telling us that women shouldn't be allowed to vote as they know nothing about politics, so their vote was a waste of time.
At the time we (pre-p.c.) lot were all suitably disgusted by this idea - but now 20 years on, I see he missed the point...
It's not just women who should be denied the 'vote' but all plebs, grockles, thickies, dumbo's, easily-won-over-voters, the electoral majority, etc.
In fact it's now clear that only those of a certain I.Q. AND interested in politics should be allowed to vote at all - this is not a class distinction, some poor people would be allowed to vote for us all just as many rich people would be denied the vote too.
What do you think? Pick a 'brainy' and 'interested' person near you to have the vote on your behalf, saves you the worry of wondering what elections are all about; you won't even have to go to some local school and be harrased on the way in for an opinion (which you probably don't have anyway, as you're just voting 'Red' or 'Blue' as it's a) fashionable or b) your Dad did).
Think of the £millions saved in campaigning, and all those useless ballot papers where thickies tick more than one box; we wouldn't have politicians kissing babies for the parental vote - in fact, it'd hardly make the news
Best of all... most of our women wouldn't have to leave the kitchen or stop ironing even for a moment, while our blokes supped beer down the pub talking about football, darts, or other worthwhile topics
Political bliss - the 'right to vote' only very clever people need apply
Your thoughts?

then there is the steady trickle of mums with there bairn's in the pushchairs:baby: . There's a regular showing of people turning up to vote during (obvious) working hours which at a good guess are those who are either having the day off to vote (doubt it) or unemployed (my guess)
. The usual time to get a small infux of workers is 5:00 o'clock till 6:00 whilst on there way home
, which just leaves the people who come in latter on either o there way to a pub or on there way home
.
otherwise, you just look like a troll!
