My MacBook Pro supports the latest 802.11n protocols for wireless networking.
I wonder if anyone has upgrade to the newer "high speed" spec and what results have the achieved. Do yo get the 300mbs speed rather than the 54mbs of old?
Also what modem/router are you using. I'm looking at the Linksys WAG160n. I know Apple produce their Airport Extreme, buts it is about £50 more expensive. OK it does have wireless printer options, but the printer is only 5M from the computer and an active USB extension has taken care of that.
Thanks
