I am coming to the conclusion that I'm going to have to give in and provide wireless networking in my home, the number of people that visit for meetings with smartphones, tablets etc. and want internet access is ever increasing and me saying stuff like "if you're on O2 your stuffed, the signal is rubbish here" isn't very helpful.
So, who / what is good in this field these days? Basic requirements are:
ethernet and wireless on the LAN side to ethernet on WAN side.
NAT (ugh) multiple RFC1918 LAN side address to one real WAN side IPv4 address.
Provision for firewall rules across the LAN <-> WAN connection at port level and ability to set static routes. This is crucial, I'm not exposing the rest of my network to the stuff coming from the WLAN.
Budget immaterial, I don't mind paying for the right kit.
