Sell this lens to me
Im looking to buy the Nikon 50mm f1.8 D AF Lens £76.99 blah blah blah.Sell this lens to me,why should i buy it, is it worth the money and if possible include example pictures too.

I must be odd then.... My nifty is my "walk around" on my 30D... but I guess I am odd shooting Canon, no?

Seriously though, it depends on your shooting style and indeed what you plan to shoot, but I doubt many "nifty fifty"buyers consider this before they make the purchase, they hear all about this legendary lens at only £60 or £70, so they buy it. Then they shoot everything wide open and complain because they don't get the amazing images they think they will.
I admit freely to getting suckered in by the hype and buying one, but it didn't fit in with the type of images I shot, so I rarely used it.

...I too was taken by the hype of this lens and picked one up last week. So far it has managed to get me a woodland portrait of my girlfriend with her actually smiling, a trully impressive piece of kit to achieve this
