Why is asking someone out so difficult? UPDATED!!!

One of Graham's more obscure posts; beats me...

Next time you see this guy at work, go out in your lunch break and buy yourself 2 sets of sexy lingerie. When you get back go in to the kitchen and show him what you've bought and ask him which set he'd like to see on his bedroom floor in the morning. If he wasn't interested in you before then i'm sure he'd soon change his mind.

More effective to model them i think under a long "fake" fur coat.

:):cool::naughty:

If you are really too shy to ask him on a date ( and as you are a pretty girl I'm sure you neednt be) why not tell him that you have to do a photography project on chefs, food and particularly what they like to cook at home.

I should say that, if you dont know someone well you should always meet for a first date in a public place. That goes for ladies and men.

at work..? steady on, chaps !!

More like - At work in a kitchen? ... with hotplates and fryers and wotnot??

That could end in all sorts of tragedy

Just do it......

Seriously....people get so hung up on asking someone on a date and it gets to a stage where they talk themselves out of it. The best advice is just to go for it and to hell with the outcome, it may go well, it may not but you will never know unless you ask.

Not everybody likes everybody so if it doesnt go well, dont take it personally, move on.
Im only 22 and have always had an issue asking girls out until one day I simply thought...b****r it....im not going to be young forever so im going to make the most of it now. Trust me it works :)

Well I see him tomorrow - providing he's in work Scary stuff but I feel the urge to ask. :bonk:

Never, ever get involved with someone you work with.;)

Rubbish - I met my OH at work and we are still together (and very happy) 7 years later... and we still work together too.

 Has Sarah got a boyfriend?

AAAAAAAArrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh:bang:

I am a complete numpty

I didn't do it. But on the bright side he asked me when I was in and when I told him I was in when he was he said he was pleased to hear so. My friend has had enough of my wingeing about it :|:(

Complete wuss ;)

I've been watching out for an update on this thread and was expecting to hear where you were going on your date.
When are you going to see him next?

Tomorrow night :D Not that I'm keeping tabs or nothing:lol:

Just get it done, it will only get harder the longer you leave it.

right, just give me your works number, i'll ring him and ask him for you.

Tomorrow night :D Not that I'm keeping tabs or nothing:lol:

Well go for it then!
Like I said don't make a big deal of it . . . you've even got you're opening line now, you know that he's off work the same time as you over the bank holiday.

Just have a chat about your plans for the weekend and when the chance presents itself in the conversation ask him if he'd like to go along with you on one of those days.

if you DONT ask tomorrow - Mods please lock this thread - worse than a soap opera - too much suspense ...:D

Probably why I've given up and just assumed I'll be single for ever lol. 35 been single for 5/6 years and workaholic, it doesn't help lol! At least it leaves pennies to throw at camera equip when wanted :D :D :D
