I was bought Understanding Exposure for Christmas! I've had a quick read through and I'm already feeling more confident.
Ashers: I was sooooo confused when I first started (hence the username), I asked lots of questions and messed around (A LOT) with my camera. Now I work as a photographer every weekend in clubs, and I'm branching out in 2008, with the knowledge I've gained from reading Understanding Exposure (buy it!).
I guess my main point would be: If you don't have patience, photography is going to really frustrate you, when it should be something you enjoy.
Read your camera manual, learn all about the different settings (Aperture priority- Av, Shutter Priority - Tv, Manual (M) and so on, but do it one at a time so you're comfortable with each setting and know which one to use when.
xx
