you really need to get yourself a flickr account!
Aside from being able to store photos on it, to link to elsewhere, it's a great way to learn from others, more than anything else. You can add other photographers on it, whose work you find inspirational, [and others can add you too]... then you can learn a thing or two from them, and vice versa. Always nice to see what other people are up to.
Joining flickr really helps motivate me sometimes to keep going.
As well as what everyone else said - pictures look considerably better on flickr imo.
By editing your signature.Done! Now how do I make a link to the bottom of my posts like those above?![]()
Plus you can join all those post-one-comment-on-five groups and get lots of "nice shot" comments and then you can feel all warm and fuzzy inside :shake:
I use Flickr purely because at $20 a year it represents a great value additional backup medium for all my processed pics. I don't set any of my images to public though and upload at full resolution.

They only allow one Glaswegian's signature per thread, so in this case.............
It's me![]()
There's a lot of weird and wonderful ways on this forum. It's taking me some time to get to grips with them. Thanks for your help by the way. Much appreciated![]()
