Two 30D's, 24-70, 70-200, nifty, 430EX in my LowPro, never leaves my side, not sure of the weight, don't really care

Only take it when needed. If i do take it and dont shoot anything, it think i've missed something!

Have been playing with the idea of putting in the boot every day for those unexpected moments, but don't really fancy scrabbling round in my suit in a feild trying to capture a sunrise or something.....

I used to carry a camera around with me everywhere when I was doing my 365. That was pretty useful as a learning experience. Since then I've upgraded to heavier kit so just couldn't be doing with the hassle of lugging it around everywhere.

Only thing i carry around with me is my overhanging belly!!

i take mine to work with me every day, i have a backpack that holds the camera stuff neatly at the bottom and then my laptop at the back with power supply etc in the pocket at the front. You can't be too sure what you're going to be faced with! we were recently fitting new cables underneath a well known old hotel in Southport, lurking through the basements etc produced some nice images :)

Always have my G1/14-45mm lens with me. Light, less restrictive than a 20mm setup and it fits in my man bag, no one would know!

30D, 5mm f1.8, Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 and Sigma 70-300 go pretty much everywhere with me, along with a couple of spare batteries, the Speedlight, some filters, remote releases, memory cards and an olympus mui 750 and a macbook pro.
And there's always a tripod in the boot of the car.

Not every day, but a fair number of them I take a fair chunk of my stuff out with me. Body, with two or three lenses. The 100-300mm F4 only gets taken when I know I'll be wanting it though...

Always have my D700 24-70 and 70-200 with me at work..just in case..meteorite suddenly crashing to earth,Cheryl Cole breaks down outside etc etc.

Actually last year saw a funnel cloud form (have always wanted to see one) and got a reasonable shot of it..I personally would have been gutted to have seen it and not to have had my camera with me.

carry to work , my best wildlife has been taken from the 'mobile hide' .

I will be carrying my camera every day when I start my college course, but not now unless I intend to take photos

D2Hs with the 17-55mm practically lives in the car...just in case.

Well, when you have 2x D3's, I can understand the D2Hs's home :)

I only take my D90 and lens when I'm planning to take pictures. Sometimes I rather go with the D60 and 18-55 when I want something lighter and I'm not planning on anything too 'artsy'.

well not my DSLR every day but I always have a camera with me if not the 500d its the gf1 or one of the LC-A's.

At the moment the SLR stays at home unless I'm planning to take pictures. My FUJI S1500 goes pretty much everywhere with me, it's a lovely feeling when you wake with a hang over and discover you took a great picture on the way home from the pub, or a picture of the landlord doing something detrimental to his dignity.

I weighed my kit.......2 1/2 stone! (15.8kg) So no way am I taking that lot anywhere I don't have to :)

So I have a little leica that lives in my handbag ;)

5-days-a-week my full kit comes with me (weighs about 15kg), the rest of the time it's either within reach when I'm in the house or the D2x and 17-50mm comes with me, or the little Lumix P&S is in my man bag :)

I used to always carry my 50D in the bottom of a mini trekker but I got sick of lugging the weight about.

So I now have a GF1/20mm for the job. Sits in any bag I own snugly inside a lowepro 1N lens case. Winner

Little one for day to day carry around and the SLR when just out to take pictures.

Either 5D or 1D in camera bag plus an assortment of lenses if I'm going by car or if I'm on the (motor)bike it will be 10d plus a mid range zoom, card and battery (spares) every day yes.

I wish I could but travelling on the train/tube into London everyday means carrying a DSLR and my work laptop would just be too much of a pain. I usually have my small Canon IXUS in my lappy bag just in case though.

Plus in the morning I'm more worried about just getting to work rather than looking for decent photo opportunities, which is a real shame! :'(

G11 or TZ6 depending on how big a pocket I've got with me anytime i'm out and about, unless I'm deliberately out on a shoot - then there's probably 1-2 different bodies and a selection of lenses in the rucksac. Not always a D-SLR though :)

I don't carry it around every day because I rush around the house like mad to get my girls ready for school and childcare and then rush home to pick up.

However, on days off work and when I go out and about I usually take the DSLR with me. No idea how heavy it is. But after getting my new lens I would usually have my Sigma 40-70 2.8 and 50mm 1.8 with me. As a mum of a 14 month old I already carry a large nappy bag so plenty of padding and space for my camera.

I am a field service engineer covering the West Sussex area from a base in Worthing, my full kit goes with me everyday and has done for many years.

John:)

Whenever I go out the door, I have some kind of camera with me; if not the dSLR, then it's a Olympus compact. I don't know how much my SLR weighs but whenever I don't have a camera with me, I miss out on a great shot.

If I take my backpack with me (dakine sequence) I just chuck my camera in there with a nifty fifty on if im just doing stuff around town etc. Obviously if I plan to take pics I'll take everything with me!

When my d1x was working (currently bodyless) it was always with me either the full kit in the car or on my shoulder with an 18-55 the only time i forgot it i missed what could have been a lovely shotn

I usually have a camera of some sort with me, even on long walks.

I usually take a bag with 2 DSLR bodies and lenses with me to work, so I can pop out at lunchtime. And, I have a Panasonic GF1 in my jacket pocket and a Fuji compact about my person too. A mate called me Jessops on legs.

I just feel naked without a camera.

I carry my G11 in my pocket when I don't have my DSLR with me :)
