Hello,
I'm interested in getting an f2.8 lens for my Sony a580 and I'm struggling with some of the terminology.
What's the difference between the two Sigma options? Is it just just the optimised stabilisation feature and macro?

The second lens is approx. £400 more expensive! It's for long distance portrait photography and perhaps travel photography two (with occasional sport). The other option for a fraction of the price is to go for an old Minolta lens and I've seen a 70-300 f4/5.6 lens for £70.
Thanks in advance!
Richard
ps. There are a number of threads regarding 2.8 lenses but I couldn't find one that posed this specific question.
