Went to a relatively close camera shop that I go to for most, if not all my stuff now...excellent shop they really are!
I asked to look at the sigma and tamron as mentioned previously (didn't want to look at the nikon purely because of price, and they didn't have the tokina) so I tried the sigma on, felt very well built and solid...focus and zoom ring offered a nice bit of resistance and had a nice bit of weight to it. So stuck it on and went out the back to try it out on a car (as this is what it was mainly going to be used for) and instantly I knew 10mm was what I wanted, also the picture was incredibly sharp considering it was handheld...so i was happy there. Went back in, and all I did was take the tamron out of the box and instantly said "nope, i'll take the sigma"...the tamron felt very light and flimsy in comparison, and for the extra 50 quid I took the sigma

I also asked for a 2nd hand CPL as i knew a decent new one would be expensive for 77mm, so they gave me a 2nd hand hoya pro 1 D CPL, cleaned up good as new. Turns out they retail for £132 so pretty pleased there
Anyway, enough blabbering, here's some results! First time out with the lens so to say i'm pleased is an understatment
