Which Nikon Full Frame would i go for

Sad to see this is the way all recent Nikon related threads have gone recently...I know this is the dark side but can't we just play nice like the canon users. They seem to be able to hold conversations without bitching and taking jabs at each other.

Just to keep away from this I might start advising people to get a 5dmk3 :)

This.

Any nikon thread just descends into the usual core of Nikon wannabe's derailing it. Thank god for the film forum here. Hopefully the op got a bit of useful info out of this mire.

I use d700 and d600. Both fantastic. Both have no dust issues. Don't believe the hype

you'll pick up a good second hand d3 for some £500 less then a d800. Or do you mean a d4?

Seriously? That may be true from your perspective, but yet again you appear to wish to make wide ranging and wrong ( for most of us) statements. Why?

Don't say that.Have the courage of your convictions and say were I am wrong and then everyone can see and judge your assessment of the matter. So let's hear it.Put up or shut up.:bat:

As I said, your perception of how useful a full frame camera is it may be true from your perspective.Doesn't mean you're right for everybody. But if you think full frame is only good for low light you're wrong.

"To match a 16mp 1.5 crop sensor(D7000) in full frame you need 36mp.when you have 36mp you do not get the low light value associated with full frame"

This is where you seem to be unable to look beyond your own use, yes to someone who valued tele range the D800 may not offer them any more resolution with the same lens but why do you think that applies to all possible users?

To someone who is not cropping down the D800 and the D600 clearly offer both more resolution and superior high ISO performance downscaled to the same resolution as the D7000.

Well thank you all for your advice would like to say i have bought the D800 so i will have some fun working out all the controls thanks again
