I'm thinking about getting a fast lens mainly for low light indoor photos where a flash might be a bit too intrusive, gigs / parties and other similar sort of occasions like that as my 24-105, whilst a good lens, i feel isn't really fast enough so the iso ends up going up and up and picture quality starts to suffer as a result. It might also get used outdoors, landscapes etc maybe as another walkabout lens.
This is where i need suggestions / feedback from you
. People who have been in a similar situation and what did you go with and why? Did you feel you made the right choice?
I have made a list of lenses i think might do the job but not sure which would be best suited to my needs.
Canon 35mm F2 is (i believe the non is is a little slow to focus?)
Canon 35mm 1.4L
Canon 50mm 1.4
Any others worth considering? I'd prefer to stick to Canon but might be persuaded otherwise.
