You pressing random buttons again CT? you seem to have quoted half a post then added the other half outside the quote box :p

That or you hit edit instead of quote on Glows post

I'm under a lot of pressure! :baby:

LOL

The Mini Trekker houses the 30D, 70-200mm, 24-70mm and flashgun ready for speedway. The Lidl backpack belonging to the other half has the D30, Sigma 70-300mm, and Tamron 19-35mm. The nifty 50 sits in the bag of whichever of us used it last, and the balance of the gear (Teleconverters, other lenses etc) lives in a third bag - an Orion Trekker. The three bags live in the bedroom and the tripod is usually either in the car or the front room.

Do you really think i'm going to tell the world where I keep a couple of grands worth of gear :cuckoo:

:D

my stuff is in my bag and in original boxes in the cupboard in the kitchen, its all mine...mine i tells ya!

Well Id love to take out a small bag but I am the worlds worst decision maker so i always think... what if...what if...........so I take the mini trekker completely stuffed out with tripod attached all the time and can hardly carry it.

How do you all decide what to leave at home. where i go i could easily take macros, or bird shots or landscapes so need all my lenses.

BTW, the Ikea display cases are currently £19/each at most Ikea stores, I paid £45/each a couple of years ago, they have built in top lights which make your gear all glow at night... :)

DREEDER!!!

They're £34.90! :'(

Does the job though!

Sorry about that, spotted that earlier on there website and asked my mum... she went to the Warrington store on Sunday with my sister and they were definately £19 as she wanted to buy some... but theyd gone in my sisters car (Z4M) you cannot fit anything Ikea sell in that...

hehe - I have just been to IKEA and spotted these and though "oooo thems the ones on the forum" but yeah they were £35 too :( The ones I saw didnt have the lights in the top either. Got my "Billy" bookcase though :D and not too many impulse purchases!

Yeah the lights are extra, but I passed on those.:D

I keep my tripod and monopod in the boot of my car and all my camera equipment in a Lowepro rucksack. This ensures my equipment is always ready to go.

I keep my kit tidied away in my Lowepro Nova 5, batteries charged everything where it needs to be if I need to get up a go on short notice.

King.

Recently bought a Crumpler (37 daily) to use on holiday (it doubled as a handbag) and at the moment it holds my Canon 400 body with the battery grip and 24-70 attached, and has my new 10-20mm and the nifty 50mm in separate compartments. It also holds my spare specs in their case, a polarising filter, a release cable, a lens cloth, spare battery, spare flash card and MP3 player.

In the front section, note pad, pen, tissues, lippy, panadol and mints! Oh, and a Swiss army knife too.

The rest of my gear is half in the AW trekker, half on the sofa in my study. The 70-200mm lives in its own posh case. In theory.....I know where it all is!!

Have three bags, big Lowepro (computrekker aw+) small Lowepro (slingshot 200) and 1 other big vanguard reporter type carry case.

For now still everything only just fits into the big L...Sits in the lounge ready to grab and go!

I keep everything in my Microtrekker 200 so i can just grab it and i know where everything is.

I keep all my camera gear in a cupboard in my computer desk. the bags sit next to the cupbaord along with the tripod and monopod. have been thinking of getting one of those display cases though from ikea, they look pretty nice.

Well, I don't have a lot of gear... so it all fits on the bottom shelf of my material cupboard thingy.

At the moment my gear is packed into my Lowepro Orion Trekker II, and it's always ready to just pick up and go.

I'm sure as my "collection" grows i'll need to be a little more organised!
