Yes
Mine wasn't really a waste of money, but have only used the bean bag I bought to rest my arse on thus far (glad i got the large size now :))

Also bought an AC power supply and sold it for half price unopened

For me it has tobe my Nikon 17-35 F2.8. Used less than three times in a year (one of those was for testing) and currently for sale in the classifieds due to lack of use.

After reading glowing reports on here a Benro GH1 Gimbal head, supposedly equal in quality to Arca Swiss, Wimberley etc ... has to be the worst piece of engineering I have ever seen, really poor quality and did not function as it should, and in no way comparable to the quality heads it was compared to.

Redsnapper tripod - Great tripod but just dont use it much, never been out the house!

Strangely my best purchase is also my least used!

A classic Hasselblad that gets swooned over as much as it does used but it was a bargain so I'm not complaining :)

Just arranged a shoot up near Thurso so I might even take it! lol

Lowepro 160AW. Far too small, not even enough to bring a water-bottle along. Well, at least it was only £25 or so. How do they say? It's the stingy beginner's fee.

My Courtney solarflash lamps. Bought them on gumtree, they where cheap but didn't know that the bulbs where un-replaceable. So they sit in my cupboard and I a afraid to use them in-case they blow.

Been having a think and can't come up with anything photo equipment wise that I regret buying..only thing I wish I hadn't bothered buying would be the multigym, boy did that get old fast.....

190XProB. Too flimsy for the kit. Had to buy an 055MF3, much better.
Must get around to selling the bloody thing.

Probably a monopod I had..... closely followed by a Canon remote timer thingy.

Nikon WT-4 wireless transmitter. Too unreliable, with many dropouts. Nowhere near Nikon's claimed range. Bought it off ebay secondhand, and sold it there for £45 more than I paid, so a result.

Just bought a nearly new Billingham Hadley Pro - looks lovely but not even half the size I expected. Must do better research! Arrived today - on ebay already. :bang:

Phew, sold!

Sigma 10-20mm - it showed me how useless I am with UWA. I used to put things like empty crisp packets in the foreground just to have something there, as everything seemed tiny and distant...

An "O" Flash ringflash, absolutely hopeless, sucked power from the speedlight and had wofelly uneven illumination - currently residing in a landfill somewhere

Welding glass. Absolute bloody waste of time. Glad it was only a couple of quid!

A Betamax video player would have been a better buy than my monopod.

Lottery tickets ........ :'(

Bellows and manual extension tubes off ebay! Oh yeah then I bought a mirror thingy that screws on the lens to let you shoot at right angles - that was a load of tosh too. Best thing I bought was a sigma 24-70 f2.8 for £70 new then sold it to fund a macro - now I wish I had it still!

my Halina 35x - if I hadn't bought that I might have lost interest in photography, got a proper job - and been very rich by now!

Nikon 200-400 VR.... biggest dissapointment in my photography history so far and the most expensive mistake I've ever made.

Luckily bought from an excellent understanding dealer who gave me back my money.

Gorillapod SLR Zoom thinking it would be ideal for macro work. Wouldn't suport the camera at the angle I needed and even if it did long exposures are no goof for critters that move. :bang:

Having read a few replies made me realise I do NOT need a new flashgun, so thanks for that people

Forgot the Monopod which I bought and sold after one use

A Metz flash gun. Bought it, tested it, noticed it didn't have a manual mode, haven't used it since. Well I lie, used it as a fill flash from time to time and for experimental shots, but basically bye bye 70 quid. Never buy a flash on a whim when you know nothing about them

7D +1 to athe above poster.

Took it to Kenya really as a second body for myself, but in the end the Mrs used it the entire trip

(Should have bought her the darn camcorder she wanted!),

She spent so much time warbling about how much better the 5D MKII is since we got back I have had to dump the 7d and splash on a 5D MKII and 24-105 for her now, so the 7D just cost me best part of £2500! just to keep the Mrs happy!
