Another of my recent aqusitions, first time I have heard them, its rather good and very relaxing -

Just seen that Dave Cousins of The Strawbs has passed away. TBH, I wasn't aware of him (or the work of The Strawbs) but saw the story on a news feed referring to the band.

Strawbs did some great tracks - i will always remember ' Part of the Union' great track

Went to see Ted Nugent at the Hammersmith Odeon on the night Elvis Presley died in 1977, I'm sure this one concert was the start of my current partial hearing loss !! -- VERY LOUD :-)

Been out photographing fungi, a bit early for the most of them but a few about - time for a beer and a disc, a bit of a throwback to an earlier life, 1974, Elton John - Caribou. the price ticket says Revolver £3.29 so there you have it great music at a great price, still enjoying it today 50 odd years later - and boy were some of them 'odd' ! but, yea gods 51 years ago, soddin hell. I feel very privileged to be here now listening to this with the memories i have.

Is that a record cleaning brush in the foreground of most shots? I use mine every -well most-times a disc lands on the TT, even though all my discs-new or s/hand go through the record wash machine.

yep - every time one goes on it gets a brush - still going through some of a load I recently bought so no idea when i get it out of the sleeve when it was last ( if ever ) cleaned :)
