Hello I am new here and decided to join after a lot of my questions I googled redirected me here a lot
great forum.
I have 2 questions:
1. I'm looking at getting another camera body as I'm shooting events, music and festivals where it would be easier to have 2 cameras instead of switching lenses a lot. I'm not looking to go full frame as my budget won't allow for it but maybe a model that's equivelent to the D80 (but a newer model) or one that's a bit more advanced. I've been looking at the D7000 at the moment. Any suggestions would be great.
2. I enjoy shooting things up close and thinking about getting the Nikkor DX Micro 85mm F3.5 VR (as it's under £400). Might also double up as a portrait lens maybe?...I've started to assist at weddings and do a bit of portraiture. I'm going backwards and forwards not really knowing whether F3.5 is fast enough or save more money and get a faster lens!
Here's what I have at the moment (all nikkor):
DX 18-55mm F3.5 VR kit lens
DX 55-200mm F4/F5.6 VR
FX 50mm F1.8 prime
Any advice would be great!!
Thanks
