What camera magazine would you guys recommend? I'm like something not too technical and with reviews of new gear and maybe tutorials on how to get certain shots.

Sounds about right, I have subscribed to a few motorcycle ones in the past, there are only so many times you can read a 600 shootout
However I found one 'Practical Sportsbike' That doesn't seem to repeat itself and has been consistantly interesting. Wondered if there was a camera one like that!![]()

Hi Chris
I've always liked Digital SLR Photography. There's always a good balance of kit/book reviews, technique tips and ideas and interviews with pro's among other things.

Of the mags on the shelves, AP is the only one I get every issue of - in fact, I subscribe. The monthlies all seem to be on a 12 month cycle - it's March, must be HRD time... AP seems to cover the whole spectrum, from classic/collector articles to latest kit reviews along with interviews with top pros, readers' photos, the story behind iconic photos and also gets technical with regard to things like lens and sensor design. Being a weekly, it also tends to have news rather than churning out what we've read here a few weeks ago!

Switched over to do a DSLR filmmaker mag instead
I think "Outdoor Photography" is one of the better ones, obviously if you aren't in to landscape etc it will be of limited interest though!
Well done on the red squirrel photos. Have the mag and thought they were very good.![]()
Ah. Shame.
Digital Photo for me- lots of information on all aspects of the craft
Oh and free tutorial CD's on Photoshop CS5 too
