Yes
I'll start off with....

I stripped down my ball head.

And also pulled the end off my rocket blower and washed it out with water

Should have seen that coming really shouldn't I.

If I took pictures every time I was bored I would have long since run out of hard drive space.... And night time isn't the best time for taking photos anyway.

As soon as I posted it, I said "that's too predictable", and toyed with deleting it.

No no, if it wasn't you it would have been someone else:lol:. You must have done something just because you were bored... rearranged your bag... anything?

Stripped it down to its component parts to take a photo of it

was a dead one by the way

Now THIS is more like it

Really interesting picture, nice work.

Thanks! I tried another one where the gubbins were spewing out of the mirror box but it just looked naff

Haha coughing it's guts up.

I like to take things apart as soon as they give me half a reason too...

(Wasn't trying to take nice pictures, just documenting)

"What have you done to your gear because you were bored? "

Tried to organise/arrange it all so I can find what I'm looking for with ease.....failed miserably each time :D

Any other Partridge fans thinking:

"I got bored so I dismantled my Corby trouser press. Will that show up on the bill?"

Top effort by Simon Photo. Some serious boredom going on there.

No but the camera body would have to match....:D

I've got the 40D out and I'm eying it up.. red, or a nice Brunswick Green?

Ive taken most of my film cameras to pieces at some point, i've got a canon A-1 in the process of being stripped down into it's component parts, might make something out of them :D

I've got a few that are either in bits or are pretty much for repair or spares ........problem is i don't know wether to hold onto em as spares or let em go as they simply lie around gathering dust and taking up space.

omg its camera bling bling :D

I'm doing a low budget project with two Nikon D1X's [although I use D2X's and D2H's mostly] so, for my fellow Fleet Street and regional shooters amusement, I taped the D1X symbol over with black electrical tape on both of 'em. I toyed with the idea of making up 'D5' logo's but I didn't want to give anyone heart failure! Now, I'll watch 'em get neck strain trying to work out what I'm shooting some jobs with...

Project is at... http://austerephotojournalist.blogspot.co.uk

I like this idea hahaha. I often take photographs of my photographic gear? Nerd. I haven't quite got around to painting my gear tho! :}

I haven't done it yet but I'm seriously considering doing the macro mod on my tamron 70-300 Di, it gives you 1:2 macro across the full zoom range instead of just at the long end.

Intriguing... what's the mod?
