It's a very small active area (or it would be for me) at around A6 sized. If it were me (remember I have a total desktop area of 4000x1200) I'd go the Fun which has twice the active area: http://www.bestbuy.co.uk/product/1000115352/wacom-bamboo-fun-small-pen-touch-tablet.aspx as it has twice the active area (around A5 sized).

I believe the most popular Intuos 4 is the M which has a 9"x6" active area (just a bit bigger than the Fun).
Whilst I wouldn't disagree the Bamboo is worth the money, saying it can do just as much may be a tad misleadingThe Bamboo tablet is worth the money, and it can do just as much as the tablets that cost far more..
Ive got a bamboo, really struggled with it for first couple hours so havent touched it since- this thread has given me the egg on to pick it up and try it again:bang:
What are you struggling with? Pen movement vs screen movement?
