Got the same, but Santa came early this year (January)and bought me a D300 and 17-55 2.8 nikkor and lots of other goodies in between, :thumbs:
so not bothered......;)

Oh! I forgot,when the cheque clears,Santa is bringing me a nikon S52c Compact anyway, from Pete.......

I got a Digitial photo frame, 28 peice filter set ( i have had some fun with these!), filter case and CS4 for dummies book =D Plus I am going to treat myself to a sigma 105mm Macro Lens
 
I got (a lot) of red wine as joint present from my side of the family. Off to hubbies family on Sunday for Christmas Day mark II.
Also got a few photo frames, a Tamron 70-300mm for my new 450D and a copy of The Digitial Photography Handbook by Doug Harman. Scary thing which that one is I think I work with the sister of the bloke who did all the photos for it! I'll find out when I go back to work on the 5th.
 
I hope everybody had a nice christmas and got lots of nice pressies.

I got plenty of socks, a few tops and pairs of jeans, pair of boots, some smelly's and other bits and pieces. Photography wise an Interfit EX150 flash kit, and a some cash which I have just put towards a Sigma 24-70 f2.8 from Jessops will collect it tomorrow :). Treat myself to a couple of second hand flash guns to use off camera an SB800 and an SB600 a couple of weeks back just need to get some poverty wizards so I can have a play.

Yes, a mindboggling array of gifts, the like of which could not have been predicted. The best thing is that I'm still with/speaking to my boyfriend :) (even although I've hardly seen him over the festive season as I've been at work lots).
 
I got, an umbrella, fingerless gloves, a remote control mini cooper, some chocolate, cash and a Phillips shaver.

I was spoilt rotten by my wife and got lots (too much to remember here anyway!), including a beautiful leather watch box (and another watch to go in it!).

Nothing camera related what so ever though!

Four days left Jon, AA-T100BT is that the same as the IPOD trip thingy, I never liked mine as it made the music sound like it was coming from an am radio.

would appear as though I was (but really wasn't! :D)
got a sparkly something, some perfume, toiletries filled basket, some books, Queen (the band!) mug, and a knife sharpener (yes, I asked for it :D:D).

this is one of the top 10 goofiest photos I own...

The great thing about Fallout 3 is you can ask your mates who are playing it where they are, and you won't have a clue. It's as if they're playing a different game.

just 4 days mal? :( really must put my mind to a better send off for the pigeon than it got from you, well a bigger bang at least ;) :lol:

The AA-T100BT is bluetooth rather than fm transmitter, so you get much better quality. In the car I have a proper ipod adapter so I just plug the cable in and do all the controls via the head unit. The main advantage for me is I can now use the ipod direct with my BT stereo speakers rather than via my laptop with itunes, and that's great for when i'm travelling and away from my ipod dock. :)
 
The ipod is excellent, can watch videos on the front of it too :thumbs:
 
Just a Manfrotto 804rc2 head for me, have plans to change my kit myself in the near future anyway, 1D mkii :D

heres the list of perchases

42" plasma screen
nintendo wii and balance board
hd camcorder
nikon d300 and grip
hpi savage radio controlled petrol truck
full gym equipment
new wardrobe of clothing!

so there wasnt really too much left.

but i got a really nice pair of walking boots from the wife which i wanted for ages!

got a wireless remote shutter release
tamrac pro 8 bag
optech pro strap
was my bday on the 20th and my wife bought me a aerobatic experiance in a plane! so will look forward to that in the new year!

unfortuanatly i didnt :(

i had over 20k of debt in the middle of the year and with a baby on the way i needed to sort something out! so i sold my car which freed up 15k paid of some debts and bought myself a mondeo for the family and dogs, which has proven to be extremly cheap motoring compared to my last car which was always being repaired,
then i inherited some money from my grandmother who past away in the year, so thats about the long and short of it really,

so nothing exciting but put me onto my feet,

now i have to be careful with my money as its only one wage coming in now. but this year has taken a huge weight off my shoulders.

i just cant wait for mrs doubleT to go back to work to give us a regular disposable income:thinking:

It's an awesome bit of kit (well, 2 bits, really) and I still can't keep the grin off my face. I've just got to try and live up to it now - I can hardly blame the camera for rubbish pics!
