...cooking tonight :lol:

With Penny recovering from hospital, she made it rather clear its my time to cook... :lol:

Sausage Casserol with red pepper, ground pepper, chilli powder, onion and mushroom, served with spiced potato wedges. :thumbs::help:

So TP, whats for dinner with your families?

Not cooking anything tonight as we're going out for my wife's birthday. That said if it wasn't her birthday we might have been heading to yours :lol:

Spicy chorizo sautéed with potatoes, garlic and peas :) Not the healthiest of meals but damn tasty :love:
 
Thin base pizza with various veggie toppings & salad with plenty of E V Olive Oil.
 
what a coincidence! My missus wants sausage surprise tonight too!

Not a clue what we're having for tea though :lol:
 
bacon and onion flan with wedges and salad fresh bread out of the oven too.
 
Griddled rib eye steak with fried onions and muchrooms and pepper sause and some sauted potatoes with creame fresh and sweet chilli sauce.

I love my night to cook, it makes a change from pasta or stirfry :(.... hope the other half don't read this! :boxer: :exit:

Julie (wifes) just making her speciality cheese and onion flan, its very rich made with single cream and Lancashire Crumbly cheese, red onions and eggs, tomato on the top, it raises right up,its so light, its fab, also shes making home made rhubarb crumble and custard both are absolutely yummy :love: :love: :love:

Yours sounds fantastic Dave, wish mine would hurry up :lol: I let it cook for a long time as I find you get more flavor, downside is you get soooo hungry :D

have just done in a griddled filet steak, caramelized balsam potato wedges, roast carrots, and black pepper and butter sauteed haricots vert, with a homemade bearnaise.
and then a pack of haribo fried eggs for pudding

naturally!!

My sausage casserole was lovely thank you, Penny and the kids devoured it almost instantly, so either they loved it, or couldn't wait to get rid of it :lol:
 
was going to add a pic of ours too but now i have seen yours i'll keep mien to myself i think lol

Beef stew and Dumplings! All homemade by me, and damn good it was too!
 
Currently sat in the hotel bar waiting for a table, which wont be until "around" 10:15pm

Right now I'd eat anything!!
 
We had courgette, bacon and chilli pasta with lemon. First time we had tried that one but it was fantastic with a really fresh clean taste.

Just finished my breakfast - (Jordan's raspberry country crisp) and am already feeling hungry again thinking about all this food. Those cheese and onion flans look superb. Drool!!
 
Thanks Ian, So what are we all having tonight? we are haveing so juicy chicken with rice and veg.
 
Carrot and coriander soup, maybe spicy. Not forgetting croutons, croutons...the crunchy friend of the liquid broth.

Finished off with some apple crumble..maybe rhubarb crumble I don't know.
 
Can't just be me who HATES croutons? I'm sure somewhere along the line they are the work of the devil :lol:
 
My lovely wife has been working from home today and in her spare moments made me a smoked mackerel stir fry! Yum. Best thing is we have some left over for lunch at work tomorrow!
