I can't remember the name of it, but we ate at the same taverna most nights, in Crete, that also had around 90% Greeks, as customers.One of our favourite tavernas in Crete has a very poor review on TripAdvisor
We ate local dishes every night, without really knowing what we were about to get.
One we were advised not to though, it was a traditional local dish, something about stewed cabbage and onions.
And that was all it consisted of. Yep that was a "pass"
The local "Lamb" stew I recall, being rather excellent, and I'd put money on the fact it was goat ..
