WCMUT....what cheered me up today

They always are until delivered... Which seems pointless :lol:
 
Last time I had something sent out by parcel farce, coincidentally I was off the day it was due to arrive, the tracking number was actually working, so I kept an eye through the day,
timed at 4:45pm, delivery attempted no one home returned item to depot, well I know the little s*** was lying, as I was out the front cutting the grass, tidying up etc. well before and well after that time.
He ( obviously) never even put a card through the door, so if it wasn't for the tracking number working, I would have had no idea.
I made a formal complaint, seems the guy was on holiday as of that evening, so I wonder would it have been sat in his van for two weeks?
Useless t***t!

I like beer and pubs a lot. They have always been a large part of my social life and I'm not sure if it would work if I switched to soft drinks. To be honest, I think I'd get less strange looks if I walked into the pub wearing a tutu than if I ordered a lemonade. :(

Edit: actually, that's given me an idea... :naughty:

I'm not making any promises but I do have form for wearing a tutu (mufti day at work, didn't go down well :D).

Anyway, I'm looking forward to pub-quiz night and might even give the lemonade a try (with or without the tutu).

I always find a chinagraph pencil handy....

...and "T**T" is easy to spell backwards... :D

Actually this happened yesterday evening. Went as an invited guest, I nominated one of the recipients, to the local town hall for the annual civic awards to ordinary people who make a difference to the townspeople through voluntary work. It reminded me that because all that the newspapers and TV news people are interested in is the people who are trouble in one way or another, the great majority are going about their lives doing their best and giving of themselves.
 
WCMUT. Car battery wasn't flat and after toodling around for an hour nothing had broken or fallen off which is good going for a 26 year old Italian rust bucket :)
 
I'm not normally one for jokes, us Germans don't have a sense of humour :) But this one made me smile..

Bob forgot his wedding anniversary. His wife was mad. She told him "Tomorrow morning, I expect to find a gift in the driveway that goes from 0 to 200 in 6 seconds AND IT BETTER BE THERE!!

The next morning when his wife woke up, she looked out the window to find a box...gift-wrapped in the middle of the driveway. She opened it and found a brand new bathroom scale...

Bob has been missing since Friday :P
