A brief trundle on the Bonnie. Only a few miles but since the actual necessary distance was only a mile each way, I made the most of it! Might even go for a longer ride this evening.
 
What made me chuckle more like ...

A woman decided that she was going straight across a round about as I was turning right ( my priority) she just failed to see me.
We stopped pretty much at a 45o angle her offside front wing next to my near side front wing.
Windows were open in both vehicles and she proceeded to give me a mouthful.
She was on the phone so no idea what the hell the person on the other end thought.

I thought it only polite to point out the "dash cam" that was looking pretty much straight at her.
she immediately dropped the phone and wound her window up ..

It just so happens the small black rectangle mounted high on the windscreen is a receive / transmit device for the live smart nav
and not a camera after all :D

It's totally amazing how people suddenly calm down when the see a dashcam, difference is mine is real :)

I've pointed to "it" a couple of times, and yes it works wonders :D
 
Definitely worth a chuckle,I was over taking 2 artics on a dual carrageway, it was still dark, they were doing circe 60, I was doing circa 70.
In my mirrors I could see a car gaining very fast, (It turned out to be a BMW, what else? )
And he was rapidly flashing his headlights, rather like police cars when they have blues and two's running.
There wasn't a hint of blue, so I confident to continue at the current speed.
As I passed the tail end lorry, he swung out behind me to over take the 1st lorry.

In his defence he would claim *"He flashed me out" I didn't see what happened but I guess there was no impact, surprising really :D

* But of course we all know that is NOT what flashing your lights means :D
 
Flashing your lights means just to make you aware of their presence. No different than a horn. Obviously everyone has been using it as a "give way" or similar sort of sign, which is why scammers were flashing their lights to give way to side traffic and then ramming them.
 
Getting a half reasonable exchange rate on euros. Been keeping an eye for a while since it's been up and down like an 'ore's drawers and managed to get €1.14. Best we managed last year was 1.12.
 
The first frog spawn of the season in my pond today (y)
Every year about this time I get 2 or 3 large clumps, and every year we get a late frost that kills it :(

Not this year you don't Jack Its in the dining room (y) ( well where else do you keep frogs spawn? :D )

Well a week on, and the frogs spawn I took out the pond, the 1st lot appears not to be fertile, but the second lot
is wriggling well (y)


I think I'm gonna need a bigger tank :D
 
Are you going to keep them tanked 'til they transform, or repond them when they hatch?

When I looked a couple or so hours ago, there are some breaking out of the jelly prison!
Far too quick!
I'll (have to) keep them inside for now, and release them when it warms up a bit.
They'll probably have hind legs by then at this rate!
 
I remember it being revolting! Almost as bad as sago pudding.

First 3 holes - birdie, par, par! Then started picking my nose and ended up with far too many bogeys! Still ended up scoring to handicap thanks to another par on a hole where I got 2 shots.
 
A non polluting supermarket delivery van, a huge picture of a battery on the back, and the slogan "I am all electric"

Fantastic !

Oh wait but it was on the back of a diesel recovery wagon.
Had it not been on the road, it wouldn't have broken down and caused another diesel vehicle to be on the road (y)

Being allowed home after a session in the microwave (MRI machine). Not sure when I'll get the results but they kept me in after the first one so being allowed home has to be a decent result!
 
Making a hard but sensible decision.

Big Red is going. To make way for his younger, smaller cousin. The Rocket III will be transmogrifying into a black Bobber (not a Bobber Black.) Much as I enjoyed riding the big bathtub, there was always the feeling that when he bit, he'd bite hard and fast and when that happened, I wouldn't be able to get him back to vertical. The bobber will get far more use. The only real downside is that he's strictly a single seater but the upside is that he's strictly a single seater! :)

Took the Bobber out for a 5 mile test ride and ended up doing 20.
