They may make a good you tube Chanel thoughbut some of these 'conversations' would be far better if they were kept private!
I surmise that is an Amazon Merchant?Got something I ordered from Amazon today,
Inside was a was a voucher for £15 that I could claim if I gave the product a 5* review !!!!
No wonder everything is receiving high ratings these days
I think I recall either on a TV program(fictional) or indeed 'reported as a real life happening'.........of someone, irritated by the behaviour, said loudly along the lines of (not quoting....but aimed at making extreme embarrassment) "she needs to finish the call now.......as due in the studio for her nude shots....." :banghead:People making cellphone calls on public transport using video mode, which involves holding the device at arm's length and speaking very loudly. That's irritating enough, but some of these 'conversations' would be far better if they were kept private!

I do hope its trueI think I recall either on a TV program(fictional) or indeed 'reported as a real life happening'.........of someone, irritated by the behaviour, said loudly along the lines of (not quoting....but aimed at making extreme embarrassment) "she needs to finish the call now.......as due in the studio for her nude shots....." :banghead:![]()
As I said I was not quoting.........thinking about it since I posted......it might have an equally (if not more so) embarrassing "are you coming back to bed yet....."I do hope its true![]()

I wonder if that should be reported to Amazon.......as perhaps against their "Merchant rules"???
A few years back I bought a DVD from an Amazon Marketplace seller, he never sent it, a week later I contacted him and he turned round and said he'd "changed his mind" about selling! Is that even legal?!Well the item was disappointing so returned for a refund, once I get that I will report it
I always check the reviews before ordering

Not legal if he took your money and didn’t return it but otherwise it’s OK. It’s even legal in a shop. The goods are only on “offer” and they can refuse your offer — only normally happens if they've made a mistake with the price. I have found Amazon reviews very helpful if you’re savvy. I always answer questions if I can too for that reason. That's why I never give a review on anything I buy from them.
In general I agree........I have found Amazon reviews very helpful if you’re savvy. I always answer questions if I can too for that reason.
The other reason for reading reviews is that some are hilarious sometimes deliberately (particularly replies to questions like “is this vegan?) and sometimes unintentional (eg “this cast iron pan is rubbish, it rusted after I cleaned it”).
In general I agree........
That is why I queried, based on the 'bribe' voucher mentioned(from a Merchant or Marketplace seller?) about Amazon being interested in such 'bribery'?
On a side note ~ I have been quite content with the way Amazon handle issues with products, either as "fulfilled by" or direct from merchants.I did eventually get to contact someone at Amazon today, and my complaint is being directed to the right department to deal with, seems they don't take too kindly to this sort of thing.
Whether anything will happen remains to be seen
Looks like a trip back to Game in Town's on tomorrow's to do list weather permitting.Better than I was over the weekend for sure, still got aches and cough but the fever and other symptoms are definitely subsiding.b****r! Hope you're feeling OK other than the frustration.
How did you pay? cash or card? Even if cash they may be fine and accept the return, they may even remember you. I've had that happen before. My first plan today was to hit GAME in Town to return the game I got yesterday (second copy and the ****ing thing still won't load! Eh?) but I can't find the receipt that came in the package yesterday.
I'll get Laura to help me look on Friday, allegedly women are good at finding stuff![]()
I bought the first one digital from the Xbox Store, didn't work, after uninstalling and reinstalling, twice, so I requested a refund. How did you pay? cash or card? Even if cash they may be fine and accept the return, they may even remember you. I've had that happen before.
Indeed, you just get used to where stuff is one week, and then they ruddy move everything! Proper annoying!Tesco stock being "re-arranged"! Another "marketing strategy" that didn't work as I couldn't be bothered to search and popped into the Coop instead!
pipe by Dave Marley, on Flickraye, remember that particular on-site hack/bodge well...As you say it's an old drill I'm assuming it's not cordless. I've always fixed chuck keys onto the cord with insulation tape. It's then we'll away from the drill but still where you can find it.
I sometimes think that we could learn a lot from our ancestors when it comes to dealing with criminals...I wish that I could get hold of them! Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Such scroats fall into the 'hanging is too good for them" category.WAMT- Some low life ringing my 96 year old mum and saying that two amounts of £300 and £1000 had been withdrawn from her account. Luckily, she has all her chairs still at home and said that she was busy and would ring the bank back later after she had discussed it with her son (me). The line then went dead. The clincher was that they just said that they were "the bank" (not which one) and didn't ask for her by name, just started jabbering on. I've looked it up online and they sometimes find out which bank you are with and once they have that detail, they give you the first four digits of your card number (to "verify" that they are "genuine"!). All card numbers from the same bank start with the same four numbers it seems, so not difficult to work out! I wish that I could get hold of them! Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!
A bit of a medical thing for me...
I seem to have a problem with wax in my ears. It's happened for many years and seems to cause a problem maybe twice a year. This seems to come to light when I take a shower and I get water in my ear and it bubbles away and annoys me. After talking to the pharmacist I either use ear drops or olive oil and a little dropper and then after a while flush it out with water. That all sounds easy enough but doing this always makes me feel very dizzy and sick for about a day. I did my left ear last night and the effect was immediate, I felt really sick and dizzy and so crawled off to bed. I'm a bit better today and it is easing a bit as the time passes and I'm sure I'll be ok later tonight or if not timorrow.
Mrs WW suffered this for the first time in her life last year and after failing to clear it with drops she succeeded with a vibrating ear cleaner thingy I bought her off Amazon. I might have to give one of them a go. Other women in my life dismiss this as "a man thing."
Does anyone else suffer this?
The dizziness is probably because you have a build up of wax that the water eventually gets trapped behind. You adjust to the build up over a period of time so when you suddenly remove it with ear drops or oil it knocks your balance for a bit. Try using drops daily or a spray of oil before showering as a preventative rather than waiting till it becomes a problem. The alternative is shower with ear plugs in.......... I used to swim several times a week and had water trapped in my ears a lot, until I started using a tea tree oil spray before swimming.
Olive oil spray — less faff than drops so you’re more likely to use it.Thanks.
It's surprising the effect this has on me and it comes on really quickly too.
