It can't be the bl*** one, oh! no
WCMUT was my rucksack arriving at Dover today for my Sister to collect complete with all of it's contents [emoji2] Just have to get the important items posted to me nowSomehow managing to forget my small rucksack when I got off a train today whilst travelling to visit my Mum for Christmas..
Now got to hope it's been handed in to lost property otherwise I've lost my Kindle, tablet and my Canon compact camera, at least it wasn't my 7D.
Just to make it even more annoying the charger for my phone was in it as well and although she's got a couple of chargers neither has a USB C cable

Thanks. Home with just a 2.5 hour delay. My daughter flew to Berlin at the same time with a 3.5 hour delay. Lufthansa and Eurowings are not responsible for the weather, and their operations were good. But the string of cock ups they made on the information side, was awful at every stage. From booking to check in to delay management. The bread and butter of any airline.Bad luck, Ian. I hope you got your flight eventually.
I have only been fog bound once and was surprised by the people who were throwing their toys out of the pram because the airport had failed to provide the right sort of weather.

WAMT: A fall just as I got to the top of the stairs which resulted in me bashing my face against the airing cupboard door, receiving a split lip!

Ouch hope you're ok![]()
Yeah, I'm fine although it keeps bleeding.
Sue was out so I thought at one point I was going to be on the floor for a while but I was able to drag myself back onto the stairs to get myself back upright.
Not good, but glad you're ok
The flat I bought a couple of years ago has those emergency pull cords, don't use them atm but if something like that happened they would be useful
Possibly although you'd need to fall in specific places wouldn't you?
If your going to fall its handy by the stairs as then you can sit a while and then use the rails to help yourself up. You need a mobile phone as well. That's your day storted, feet up and take it easy.
Not as such, they are in every room, so always within easy reach, hang down to the floor.
They can also be synched with a wireless thing that you can keep with you
You need an airbag fitting. Fall over and get sprung right back upAll though if it's too powerful you may end up flying around the house like a demented pinball

I know a friend who burnt the sausages and ended up with the fire brigade knocking on the door, hearing aid had been taken out so she didn't hear control shouting are you alright Mrs W are you alright. When she asks me round for supper I always say can we have anything but not sausages.Mrs Nod's Mum has a button that hangs round her neck that calls a centre who then call a series of nominated persons. Not been used in anger yet but she has managed to press it accidentally a couple of times... The centre first call the button holder to see if they actually need help then if no reply or a YES! in answer they call help. Not free but worth what it costs her for peace of mind.
Of course you did, it never failsSo, I started feeding the birds and encourage the rat into the garden.![]()
You answered that when you said ..That rat is no more but where are the rest of the bunch,
Rats need 3 things, Harbourage, water and food,We live near the local pond and folk are aways coming with bread for the ducks
b****r! sorry to hear that Shirley, I hope you are feeling a bit better?WAMY Bad day completly yesterday. The Rat had spooked me a bit but as I sat by the fire my heart rate suddenly went mad 150 and nothing I could do to stop it. After three hours of trying to stay calm my heart was racing so much had no choice to call 999.
The story is very long but all in all, I was in A&E all night and eventually after about 6hours it went back to 120 and then settled to about 72 but kept skipping. Not a wink of sleep as I was in a little ward in A & E and eventually came home with loving sister to-day 3pm. Where yesterday morning I was on no tablets now I'm on two heart tablets one to calm it down and one to thin the blood.
Its unbelivable how quickly your life can change from nothing.![]()
b****r! sorry to hear that Shirley, I hope you are feeling a bit better?
Thanks you twoMe too Shirley ....that's not nice at all![]()
I saw worse - twice over the Christmas period, a car would indicate left but turn right at a small roundabout into the local retail park.Waiting at roundabout and drivers indicated to turn left but decided to go straight ahead (2nd exit) without canceling the signal. Then another driver follows suit 2 cars later.
Do it all the time if on a circular walk.WAMT ....people who put dog poo in a plastic bag and then leave it, how stupid is that.![]()
Why? Is the bag too heavy? Are you sure you don't have a horse?Do it all the time if on a circular walk.
