It's also the Spanish word for hurricane. But the name was inspired by Spanish bullfighting, as are a few other Lamborghini models. Huracan was a bull that fought in 1879.If it makes you feel better, Huracan was the Mayan god of....hurricanes.![]()
So its named after a dead bull? it gets less inspiring by the minuteHuracan was a bull that fought in 1879.

I can see her point, horrible noisy smelly things![]()
I had that when I tried out a BMW i8 for myself. It was not a pretty sight as to how I tried to climb out and ended up on all four on the floor of the showroom. I quickly gave up on that idea as a toy for me, and now understand why Porsche and Ferrari are so popular.

He's got to hope that the Osborne Group don't see his page. His profile image is clearly their trademark.
Never being likely to own one, I'd not given it that much thought TBH, but yep it makes sense now.Have a look at the Lamborghini badge, it features a very prominent fighting bull. Lots of their cars are named after fighting bulls or ranches.

I believe my old TR2 was powered by Massey Ferguson engine, that wouldn't surprise me TBHI mean where of where did John Deere go wrong. I mean look at what Lamborghini produces nowadays

Its one of those things, I wish I still had it long door, not that common ...
Seems they are well into 5 figures these days and excellent examples are approach 6 figures!
WTF?
The 5 was an up rated 4 / 4a and shared the same Pi straight 6 as the TR6 Although IIRC carbs were used on the export model. The TR5 was/is my favourite, because I always liked the body styling - more than the TR6 - and the bigger 2.5 engine.

Did anyone know with water bills if you have a drain which takes the rain off the house which goes into a soakaway, then you can have a rebate off your yearly bill. When I say its in the small print, if the print was any smaller it would become small dots. So recently I claimed for the first time for 5 soakaways and I've had a rebate for, wait for it £400. Apprently this has been going for years but if you don't claim you don't get. The board only goes back one year, my Dad and I have lived in this house for 34 years and paid about £500 per year. I'm writing this to tell you, get those bills out and read the small print on the back. Amazing but true.
Interesting? We have one that is definitely a soakaway though the rear of the house we have diverts into a butt but does overflow into the drains.
But doesn't it take hours to recharge anyway?WAMT. Lack of proper public Electric vehicle charging infrastructure around the Peak District and cold weather making an in range jaunt not one.
Really hoping Shell will come good on their promise to have charging points in their petrol stations from 2017.
But doesn't it take hours to recharge anyway?
And how far would that get you?Not if you use a rapid charger. 20-30 minutes max![]()
Credit card fraud department.
I pay my 'phone and BB bill using my CC - or that's the plan. My CC company texted me a few days back to check if I was trying to make a payment to the BB/'phone company and I replied saying YES. I figured that all was fine until I tried to make a call yesterday and we had been cut off. Several calls later, I now pay using a different medium and should be able to check the payments have gone through more easily. I'd much rather get a bill and pay it in person, at least then I KNOW it's happened properly!
And how far would that get you?
