WAMT....what annoyed me today!

Not knowing that the Sea Kings' farewell tour was doing its fly past of CTCRM Lympstone this morning. I was on top of a hill the other side of the estuary and could have been there with a camera.

That's a shame, that of made some good shots !

TBH, I'd have been happy just seeing them fly past, let alone capturing them doing so!

I don't normally use my Natwest credit card, I normally use a Barclaycard as I get reward points. The natwest card a has a Zero balance, but because the barclaycard expires this month I used the Natwest one to place an order some time ago with the National Railway Museum. Today they called to say payment couldn't be taken. I can only assume it's a fraud prevention thing, Obviously the National Railway Museum is a front for a drug smuggling ring's money laundering outfit...

The DPD driver that nearly wiped me out driving up the wrong side of the road while talking on this mobile.

Being woken up by the internal phone bleepng incessantly because there was a power cut WTF :banghead::banghead:
Big complaint being made tomorrow

Funny you should say that, I was cut up by a DPD driver at a roundabout and complained.

How many DPD drivers exit Hermiston Gait retail park at 10.25 on Tuesday morning with a certain registration and a description of the driver and his behaviour (gave me the fingers and laughed) and they can't find him?

Perhaps with those details report him to the police or dvla ?

I have the email of the CEO :)
Nothing seems to be happening so I've said I'll email him, which I will if they don't take it seriously.

Neither have the power to do anything about it.

Yep, private land.

A pity!

On a very old side note ~ yonks ago I was involved in a motoring accident. The other driver was found at fault, following his court appearance and his conviction I had to take out a private action to recovery my losses but no one could find him........relevance to this DPD driver above, this person was a Securicor driver and his employer 'lost' him. The cynic in me says big companies take too little notice of their drivers cavalier behaviour.

What are you expecting from an outcome? In all seriousness it's no different to having been cut up and flipped off by a private motorists. Not really worth worrying about unless they have caused damage to you or your car.

No damage was caused as I did an emergency stop. The incident was witnessed by other drivers.

I would expect someone who represents their company not to behave in this manner.
I would expect the company to try to find the driver.
I would expect the company to restate their policy to drivers on how to behave behind the wheel when representing the company.

Thinking that the manufacturers instruction that it takes 2 people to complete assembly of a rather nice coffee table is wrong
Well ok it can be done by one person if that person is a contortionist
But I'm resourceful and after a bit of a fight now have a nice new oak coffee table with drawers, end of line reduction item

WAMT...road works on a diversion route because original route had roadworks :banghead:

Makes you wonder who sanctions all these road works at the same time doesn't it. Or do they just do them whenever they want? Seems like it.

Mitsubishi's idiotic design of brake fluid reservoir - fill it up to the max line and when you screw the cap on it overflows!

Road works at this time of the year is a common way of using slippage monies which if not spent are lost and also taken from the next year's grants.

Road works are commonly scheduled for school holidays because traffic is reduced.

Noticing Xanthelasmata (Yellow patches) on my upper & lower eyelids), meaning my cholesterol is through the roof...

Computer was knackered this morning. Run out of disk space because stupid iphoto had decided to duplicate an entire photo library so everything stopped. Took ages to actually get enough control back to delete the duplicate. I had never even opened iphoto so why the hell was it copying the library without even asking first?! Backup was running as well so it was like wading through treacle to do anything. Can't open photos to check it hasn't ruined everything until the back up stops.

Pathetic imbeciles, whining and mewling on about being "harassed and bullied" and the "inexcusable treatment that (they) received" in a "hostile forum". "psyche-scarring experience" my arse...

The bloody world is so badly broken, I simply despair.

I find the tone of your post rather disturbing, and more than a little frightening.
I'm now very upset that I cannot visit the forums without being made to feel disturbed and afraid.
I shall now report the thread to you.

Oh.....Wait..... :cautious: ;)

I blame discontinuing "The Strap" at schools... (well, apart from the History Teachers.... though they preferred to receive rather than give at my old school apparently...)

We have road works in our road of which we had no prior notification. A section of road has been closed off, but no "road is closed" signs until you have actually entered the road.

And of course the funny thing is they brought the whole barrel of s*** down on themselves, but somehow can't see it.

I am sometimes very tempted to post some of the "better" RTM's or staff contacts, as I'm sure the general membership could also do with a laugh,
.... but I'm sure that's against some human right or another

...Brussels here we come :D

Maybe the forum hamster's niece or nephew could start a thread (with no replies allowed, possibly?) publishing the funniest whinges (with the name of the whinger removed, obviously!)

(with the name of the whinger removed, obviously!)
If we did that, you'd think that we made them up as we went along....

Half the fun is knowing that a full grown adult, made the comment / compliant ;)
