Calliper might just need a strip down and clean, pads always have to be replaced in pairs though
Might be worth reading through thisStupid garmin plugin deleted my FF session even though the stupid bloody thing doesn't even work in FF any more. 60 tabs GONE. So many important things to remember that are now lost. WTF would anyone program a browser plugin to DELETE an entire user session? I deliberately closed FF so this piece of crap couldn't meddle.
How about this one? You might have to search to find where FF has stored your sessiontrestore.bak filesRestore from previous session option is greyed out.... That's why I'm annoyed otherwise it would have been trivial to fix!
Oh dear. Thats me out of ideas now then. It's screwed it up big style. The previous recovery file is there but it won't use it. I'm on a mac anyway so windows file locations aren't that much help![]()

FTFY....

You can buy repair kits. The piston seal has probably let a bit of dirt or dust in, new seals and clean up any score marks on the piston and bore and you should be good to go. No reason to change the callipers in pairs if changing is your intention, but obviously new pads should be fitted to both sides.Do you guys think that can be fixed, or just pushed open or is it a new calliper job? Do they have to be changed in pairs?
Sounds like water ingress has caused rust and seized the piston, stopping the calliper from releasing. For the sake of £65, replacing the calliper maybe the way to go, unless of course you're like me and get a kick out of fixing something. You may find just forcing the piston back in is enough to remove the surface rust and get it working again, just don't leave it standing for 2yrs next time. Having said that I had a calliper seize after the car had only been standing for 2 weeks.I looked on ECP and they are only about £65. As the car has done 110K miles and was stood still for nearly two years it probably won't hurt. I'll do an inspection in the weekend as I've still got another car until March.
Appreciate the insights.

Nor punctuationIn the space of five minutes I have seen numerous times the word "effected" used in place of the correct term "affected"
Beginning to think that spellng and grammar are no longer taught at school
Ha, you passed the test. While English is probably taught in most European schools, I would guess that the vocabulary taught is fairly small and those here with English as a second language are using words as they hear them. I would suggest that their command of English is better than most of ours (English as a first language) is of any other European language.
BTW, JP, you need a full stop in there!!!![]()
I am sure there will be loads moreDiscovering a small security issue in a website I deployed - all fixed now but should never have happened *slaps wrists*
But it was worth it; he took his time with me as well. Awaiting an appointment for a Brain/Neck MRI now to see if it can shine a light on the loss of power in my right arm...Funny that as I went in for ringing in my earWamt: got a doctors appointment for 9:10 this morning. And it's already running behind schedule.
Sounds like you need to visit a Chiropractor. My mate was having trouble with his ears, the doctor referred him to a hospital for tests and they gave him tablets, which made him feel worse including dizzy spells and headaches, he visited a chiropractor and within 1/2hr all his troubles were gone, he just revisits every couple of months or so for a few tweaks on his back and shoulders, a few nasty sounding cracks that cause no pain at all and he's fine. But it was worth it; he took his time with me as well. It's a shame we don't have a CANBUS where I can plug in an OBD reader and identify which sensor is causing issuesSounds like you need to visit a Chiropractor.
