A writer on a car magazine should know that it's brakes not breaks that slow a car and that a trophy doesn't allude a team principle... (Only about half way through so far and those are the 3 I can remember clearly.) I can only guess that the publishers no longer employ human proof readers and rely on spell checkers.

Because the opposition is even worse. The best will only rise when there is decent opposition. There isn't any at the moment, hence we get a weaker calibre of people.

Don't know her background, but she's now the business secretary. And got a total mauling from an Al Jazeera journo and Max Hastings on topics she must have known would come up.
She managed to recover and make 1 good point near the end of the show (about how the outcry from moderate Muslims isn't being reported) but by then she was done for. If Dave was watching she'll be gone in the next reshuffle.

Yup, just looked at her wiki bio and she used to be a journo. She also appears to have done some good stuff in her political career so I guess last night was an aberration.
 
WAMT is this stupid f*****g keyboard. I've spent ages correcting every post I've typed so far this evening on this machine and am deliberately not doing the same to this one. Of course, Nod's/Murphy's/Sod's law will mean that there are no typos in this one!

What do you suggest then? Ignore it? Or brush it aside like the mcb by saying they aren't Islamic?

Wamt driving in the dark to the West Country this morning, being stuck in rooms without windows, and now having made my way all the way into London also in the dark ready for an early meeting in the morning. Where has Monday gone :(
