WAMT....what annoyed me today!

Yeah I'm good, not fatal you're not that lucky:p just gonna be bloody painful

Oh dear. Well, whatever it is I hope it works out well for you

By 1.30 today I had been cut up 6 times on the same stretch of road (clearing the attic and garage, so many trips to the dump)

Drivers changing lanes on roundabouts, without looking or indicating.
My brakes and horn work.

Window fitters breaking 2 panes of glass in new Windows. Is this what all of them do or just the clumsy oafs?

:plus1:

Or at least treatable and it doesn't get any worse.

Thanks guys

Phone problems!

Virtual Brickwork. (There is no easy way to recreate a brick building in model form for 3D printing, so I've been building a building from individual bricks in Sketchup!)

DVLA

...more specifically changing my address online, which you can now do. Jumped through all the hoops, answered all the questions, get to the end, and because it is within a year of needing a new photo done, unless I use my passport photo I can't complete online. (and if I don't do it online it is more expensive too!) Arse! :runaway:

... my passport was done just after my driving licence last time (within weeks...) so my new driving licence will have a ten year old photo on it with the wrong colour hair... again...

Might be worth renewing your passport early - IIRC you get a certain amount of any time left on the old one added to the new.

As for the DVLA, I'm not sure I've ever had to deal with a bigger bunch of useless twunts whose right arms don't know what their right arms are doing let alone the rest of the disorganisation.

Too late! I had lost the will to live and just told them to use my passport photo...:p

Well as you women seem to change the colour of your hair more often than I change my socks, the hair colour would be irrelevant anyway :p

Mrs Nod has been blonde for about 25 years. Glad you kept your shoes on last year at the MM!!!

Ah!Bleurghhhhhhhhhh!!!

DPD shipping, there website let my pay for a specific time on Friday. OK no problem... Only when I called them they said they had not picked up the parcel yet.

If the parcel hasn't been picked up yet, it's the supplier you should be angry with, not DPD.

Insane driving on the M55 and M6 in lashing down rain me at 65/70 getting in the way it would seem with wipers on full speed - How can they drive at 80 plus 5m away from eachother or flashing others out of the way in the right hand lane at 80 / 90 plus madness on wheels.....o_O

Un-bloody-believable, its raining quite hard out there and yet the battle of the Somme continues!
( at least that's what it bloody well sounds like! )

Not restricted to motorways :(
This morning at work on a country road, just about to pull off from the side when a Black Tange Rover appeared in the rain covered side mirrors, no lights, like a ghost vehicle
in the gloom, and irony is he flashed his lights but didn't leave them on :banghead:

DPD site let's you book next day or time slot of delivery even tho they don't have the package... So if your given a tracking number like I was, it still let's you book a time for delivery. I was told after I called them after the delivery time did I get told they did not not have it.
It turns out they did pick it up earlier that day after the shipping info was up dated.

FFS!!!!!!!!

...more bl***y fireworks! :runaway:

Really? We haven't heard any at all, not even on the 5th. Of course, there's been heavy, constant, wind and rain since about the 4th...The local sheep are starting to gather on the higher parts of the fields, because the low lying and more sheltered areas are either flooded or waterlogged. Geese seem to be doing just fine though!

Isn't it Diwali or something around now? I have a feeling that involves fireworks.

From the web,
Diwali (Dīvali, Dīpāwali, or Deepavali) is a festival of lights observed on the 15th day of the month of Kartika in the Hindu calendar. Many people in the United Kingdom celebrateDiwali each year. Diwali, also known as Deepavali, is referred as the "Festival of Lights".

And most importantly,
Wed Nov 11 2015 Diwali/Deepavali Observance
So it was over and done nearly a week ago..

I have a sneaky suspicion that the fireworks going off around here in the streets and peoples bins has nothing to do with Diwali

I have a sneaky suspicion that you are right.
Oh well it'll soon be 31st of December, and even if they subside, between now and then, they will be back in full swing again

8th February is Chinese new year next year...

I don't think that I've ever heard fireworks on Chinese new year, around here. TBH

At least we know who to blame now @DorsetDude
