How long is it going on for, I might be down that way in a couple of weeks![]()
I'm down there Thursday, but off at J4 lets hope that it doesn't get that far in a couple of days!
Fingers crossed for me thenNever seen them tail back beyond jct 5 Chris, not in 15 years doing the commute.
And that was because the tunnel was closed for nigh on a week due to electrical faults.
2 things ....
the hottest day of the year I'm working north, and as per usual it rained actually it p***ed down!
And what is about to annoy me, M1 shut J29-J28 both ways, and I need to go south in about half an hour A1 it is then but thats a bloody long diversion!

I'm off to Castle Farm lavender fields in a little while![]()
Peoples inability to indicate on bloody roundabouts, if your going right bloody indicate right, turning left, advising everybody else on the road of your intention would be nice. This stops every roundabout turning into a f*****g guessing game!
Used to be the domain of BMW drivers, seems that every Tom Dick and Harry in any car does it now. Weapons grade bellends.I liked...unliked...then liked this again, because there isn't a "Feckin' A" button.
Indicators seem to be optional extras universally!
Unless it's a mini roundabout, you only indicate left on roundabouts and that is just after you pass the previous exit and before the previous entrance to where you want to exit.Peoples inability to indicate on bloody roundabouts, if your going right bloody indicate right, turning left, advising everybody else on the road of your intention would be nice. 186You've just failed your driving test.
Come and Play in MK, we breed them here for the rest of the countryMost large roundabouts I've seen in the past 5 or so years have lanes marked making the need to indicate right obsolete.
All the alternate routes were screwed, I took a gamble and went north to go south, it paid off, it did add 3/4 hour to the journey, but no hold upspersonally i'd go accross the A617 (west) to the A61 and south that way - then you can either get back on at J28 or carry on down the A38

Here, you can get in any lane, signal if you must, but please try and get in the outside lane when turning left, if not possible then the middle lane suffices![]()

As I and the highway code says where markings indicate you are in a lane to turn right, signalling is unnecessary. You'll notice the example of the car taking exits after the 12 o clock position are in the right hand lane. This is how I was taught 35yrs ago and even had to negotiate a roundabout during the test where I had to take a turning to the right of where I entered. I passed with no advisories. It's as much frowned upon for over use of indicators as it is for not using them enough or where appropriate. Only large roundabout I indicate my intention to "turn right" is on my way to work where both lanes of the approach road I'm on are clearly marked that either can be used to go right.
Thats a givendoesnt MK edition of the highway code clearly state that if the back end isnt sliding on roundabouts you aren't going fast enough,
Its not easy in a 4x4, but still possiblewhile extra points will be awarded for achieving a four wheel drift![]()
Thats a great roundabout for going fast round, come the rush hours,I used to live in kents hill near the corner and of a night you could hear the regular screeeeeeech of the boy racers taking the roundabout faster than was absolutely necessary
Advantage.......Deuce ?

As a customer, you were well and truly "serviced"Was shopping on-line and I asked chat operator did they have the item in stock, they said yes. I also rang to make sure it was in for collection, they said yes. They even put it to one side with my name on it. I drove all the way in, only to be told they were out of stock![]()
