So I'm looking and these things are blurring into a constant stream of pound signs and glass. I'm after a decent all-round lens, rangefinder, (so L39 or LM mount), not too extreme since it needs to be used 1:1 in the R2 and 1:1.5 in the R-D1. Thinking 50mm is really the tops, 40mm and lower a better option. Not silly wide but then 15mm at 1.5x is not so bad as long as I get little or no distortion at 1x. Not wanting cheapie like Orion, or outrageously expensive like asphericals... does anyone have any suggestions that won't break the bank (given that the bank is none too pleased with my spending over the last month right now...), won't be too intrusive and will give results that I won't be too ashamed of? Can't give a budget really but around £250 is a good target to aim for. Right now I have a couple of 50mm Russians and a similar 28mm and I really need to be getting glass that will allow me to use the cameras as they were designed rather than pretend I like the effects of cheap lenses on images...
Thinking 35mm Skopar, 25mm Skopar, 15mm Heliar - and yes they are all Voigtlander since there seem to be few others in my price range!
