Where do you get that statistic from? Other than with the Toyota Prius we've had, reliability never entered my mind when buying new. And the Toyota turned out to be totally unreliable so go figure, first three months they couldn't get the sound system to work, then in Boxing Day it just died as it turned out the main earth had snapped. Then there was the steering problem recall, then there was the no brakes recall, then there was ....
Nope reliability never entered my mind with our current selection; does it look good, can we sit and transport in comfort, is it powerful enough and quiet when applying the power were our criteria. Oh, and a discount. I always want a discount, never ever pay list price. Except for once
