Vinnete

I assume you mean vignette in which case just checked in Picasa where you can choose any colour under the sun. I still use Picasa as part of my final stage in my workflow on a photograph, even though I have PE10, CS4 & LR4.

Just checked in LR and can't see how to add a colour vignette unless I am missing a point

What software do you use?

Just tried in CS4 and no colour options.

Also just tried in my Trial of CS6 & again no colour options.

yes, you can pick any colour you want in CS6...

open your image
ctrl+j
use the picker to chose any colour you want
alt+backspace
use the rectangular or oval marque tool to cut out the area you don't want to vignette
select feather > 170
hit backspace
then change the opacity to what you want.

simples ;)

But have you tried in Picasa as it seems much easier and faster

My method in a new layer, set the colour I want as background colour (on the colour picker) then radial gradient, drag from the center out and set the layer blend mode to mulitply, ajust opacity to suit.

I often just use a big brush and paint in by hand, takes cple of secs, and you can have the exact vignette you want,

New layer filled with the colour you want
Big soft eraser brush - shape and size to suit
Plop right in the middle Done :D

no, I've never tried picasa, but have heard good things about it :)

and yes, there's lots of times I just use the burn tool with a big brush size to create a vignette.

OP, has any of this helped?
