All,
Owing to a recent arrival of a Nikon D810 - it's awesome
- I am looking at moving my D7200 on and going for a D3 for sports - I know it's old technology, but it seems to be a great piece of kit and should be able to take the flying balls that seem attracted to my cameras.
Anyway, I have been looking around and some of the D3's I have seen have significant cosmetic wear (no big deal) and very low shutter counts.
I simply cannot work out why - the only logical reason I could think of would be a replacement main board in the camera to reset the shutter count perhaps?
Any other ideas?
I have of course seen others with cosmetic wear and shutter counts in the 180-500k which makes sense!
