I have unplugged my camera from my PC without safely removing the device.
I've done this before by mistake and thisng have been ok.
Last night, when i plugged my camera in via the USB port i get a message to the effect of USB device not recognised.
I reinstalled the software and as It was uninstalling it came accross a locked .exe file. The name of this file is something like ***DCF.exe and I think this is something to do with data transfer.
I tried the camera again after the install and it was still not recognised.
Popped the install disc in again, this time It did not come accross any locked files.
Tried the camrea again, still not recognised.
When i look at the device manager it says that i may not have drivers loaded. I do have the drivers loaded as I've reinstalled the software, at least I'm assuming I do as I had no errors during install.
Its a Fuji Finepix s7000 digital prosumer camera.
What have I done? What can I do to fix it?
Any Ideas?
