wow, loving that ice melting shot! And the snow shots are great too, especially the one with the tire tracks.

Thank you Conor!... Snow was great but only whilst I was snowing. Now just yuk and dangerous!

Looks pretty good for a tide over to me :)
Thank you Sarah!

Bit of a lazy day today, probably from drinking on a school night, but as the rat stayed at his dads last night meant i didn't have to get ready for school run... bad move really...... If i had of got up and gone out i would have seen just how many lovely frosty foggy trees i could have shot....

So we have ..... a flower... think this 365 is good as i seem to have flowers in the house more and more lately, even if i do have to buy them myself!:D

Tones are nice but.....

and I'm going to be really picky here ;)

Nice focus on the centre, some of the outer petals look over exposed to me and look just under the bottom right of it, you've rubbed out your blur too much ;) Sorry

Nice T, good focus and dof. Would like to see this against a dark background too.

Don't be sorry you are right... I need to be more organised in what i'm doing because i could see this and i was trying to correct the over exposed in the leaves and i was just making a mess.. .... I'm finding when it gets late like this and haven't got what i wanted i get stressed.... I should have started again like i was going too......:bang:

Epic aren't I for recognising it....I'll just make a quick...dooodle of...it.. And make a record of it in my "big book of points to consider when woo'ing the woman" .. :)

Why is it i have good intentions of sorting my photo earlier and yet again its nearly 10pm again!!.:bonk:..... I think ms organised as well and truly upped and left lol.....

Well i kinda had a busy sort of morning so it ended up being a last minute dash out before picking the rat up for school!

Luckily we still have alot of frosty snowy trees and stuff around all the villages and they always make for good photos....

Again tho i couldn't decide so we have 2... i like the first as the tree is right there in your face so to speak... but.... i do love minimal and lots of negative space, although i am aware alot of people don't so i guess it's a taste thing....

So here we have Tree 1 & Tree 2.....:D

Tree 2 for me too T, the first is a bit too central and in your face for me. Like the snow and fog in both though.

Firstly i would like to thank everyone for comments on yesterdays... i knew my mistakes and still posted... fed up and tired is my excuse but obviously now wishing i had started again.... we learn lol....

I feel i am starting to slip and get behind on comments and peoples feeds so i do appologise and i will try and keep on the ball and be more organised!:D

As for todays.... my thoughts.... initially it was going to be just #2 as that was what i had in mind after seeing the shots. loving negative space... i also know it is what we like not necessarily what others like as there will always be mixed views... i think lack of confidence and i then panic and worry i'm getting things technically wrong which is then why i added the central shot too....

So its nice to hear that i was right in the first place lol...:bonk::D

love them both but have to veer more to the 2nd one :D Great work

I find it hard to keep track of whose thread I've looked at that day sometimes! I try to make sure I see everyone's at least every few days even if not every day.

I love no 2 as well - I love negative space. I've just put my shot tonight up on the FB group for my camera club - I've added some toning as I wanted it to be a bit different (as lots of people shooting the same model) and tried a different crop and am now worrying about it...lol

I was finding it hard with adding everyone to subscription so I leave all the emails until a time I know I can sit and go through them all then I read back from the last post I remember seeing, comment, delete email and go to next. Works okay for me but sometimes find Ive read something already not realising email had added a new one lol. I'm getting there now :)

I know what it is like to put something up and then worry that no one will like it even though I dont mind constructive critique. Sometimes I do realise what is wrong with the shot when I put it up and mention it in the write up but still worry ..... how mad are we really? I think it is just us thinking it is bad when it isnt really .... maybe with time we'll be able to put something up and not worry about it at all :)

I just get overwhelmed with the subsciption notification emails so I now just try to remember whose threads I've seen recently. I don't see them all every day but I think I see them all over a few days. :) Also depends on how much time i have - often in a few spare mins I look at some on the phone app.

You can subscribe to threads without the email notification! It's what I do :) Then they appear in your user cp. You click on the little arrow to the left of the thread title and it takes you to your last viewed post in that thread.

I like the flower photo  but not totally sure on the processing, but today's I caught a brief look at them on my phone early on facebook but seeing the on the big screen now all I can say is wow, what a great landscape find, so minimalist bit works so well I like them both a lot but I love the wider off set one
