Thanks Carol, i think she's seeing just how many she can fit on there lol...

I hope you paid your daughter for her modelling , great colours !!!

Yes i bought her a boost choc bar lol!:D

Thank you!

Gorgeous bokeh shot, very nice colours, and echo what someone else posted, deffo a keeper to be used as background. Great shot of your daughters arm too, dof spot on, lighting spot on....infact....SHOT SPOT ON

That's a lot of bracelets! Cool image, I like the numerous colours of the bangles (and the nail varnish), I like the pink tones and that sketch in the background makes it awesome!

Loving the Pink bokeh'd lights.

Your daughters arm could be my daughters  Bracelets and nail varnish are obviously the way to go :)

Thank you!... i did have a folder of bokeh but had to delete as my laptop is running in the red..:eek: so this is def a keeper!...... My daughter let me take quite a few which is a surprise but i liked the bracelets as the focal.... Thank you again:D

There's a little girl under all them bracelet's  actually a rather nice idea to bring three art's into a single image

Hehe Thanks matt!.... well she's 14 this summer so she would kill me if i used the 'little girl' term.... but shhhhhhhh yeah she is still to me lol

love the last one i remember the days off the masses of bracelets apon my wrists :P

I used to when i was her age, although you being a teenager would remember it far better than me:eek::lol::lol:

Thank you, i quite liked the fact the rest of the image is bright but relatively plain so the bright bangles stood out... and yes just a hint of nail varnish peeking in

Haha yep it's a statment thing i think, like a room/ceiling full of posters lol.... how old are yours?

So here we are guys day 8... the start of our 2nd week woohoo although peeps do seem to like reminding that there is still 51 left!......:D

Today was a complete stress free day, i think probably because the rat is back at school so if i can't find anything at home it's easy to pop out.......

Oh and i'm being greedy today i am posting 2 because i just can't decide... wrong maybe? but i never do as i'm told anyway so why break a habit...:D

I rarely use texture and grain, i have always struggled with it, i like clean crisp photos.... but i see others and really like them... also i decided to venture over to PS again as i had been using LR mainly..... i was pleased i remember more than i thought although i still only really know minimal....

So here we have my 2 texture grainy thingy style shots.........

love both images for today but sway more to the B&W one ...... Great work again

Both great shots Trace.... I can't say which one I prefer, because they are both good in different ways...

The bracelet shot is great - especially with the colour of those against the more muted background.....and I love the multi-coloured nail varnish going on there! :D

Today's are both great photos but, personally, I prefer the composition of the first, so it looks like there may be some dissension over today's

Catching up! Love yesterdays shot and of today's images I like the first one. I've never been keen on the canvas texture, but like the slight sepia tone and the composition.

I couldn't decide because i'm not 100% on editing style so new for me, i rather enjoyed the grittiness of the first but i did like the dof and comp in the 2nd.... maybe i should have done 2 like 1 lol.....

Thank you Carol it's good to see what peoples opinions are because we all have such different tastes etc

Thank you Lee..... i couldn't decide either.......... and yay me for no stressing eh!!:lol:

Thanks Sam i enjoyed doing the bracelet one!.... as for todays i just couldn't decide...... It's nice getting peoples choices!

Number 2 for me trace , more of a focal point on the subject....very nice

Thanks Vince i did like the more focal point on the 2nd... i enjoy the more close up shots like that...:D

Glad you like it and big thanks for your support too

That 2nd shot is bang on the money well composed, lit and processed. Nice one ;)

I'm not sure that the processing works on the second version but it's a very nice photo if you look past the processing, I think I'd take it down the same lines as the processing in the first and then that would make a brilliant photo

I had edited the 2nd one first but then decided to play with the first, i'm not comfortable with grit and grain, but i think i agree with you.... i much prefer the composition in the second, its my kinda shot... but i did enjoy messing with the grain of the first....... Quite interesting hearing different veiws tho

Thanks Matt:thumbs:

Some cracking shots so far but I especially like the umbrella image. Stunning - well, they are all pretty stunning - but the umbrella is more stunning than the rest - if you see what I mean.

Cheers!!

Haha yep it's a statment thing i think, like a room/ceiling full of posters lol.... how old are yours?

Mine are 12 and 14 and will be featuring soon ;) Probably so much that you'll be sick of the sight of them. Fortunately they're not big on posters :)

Of todays two, i prefer the first, and as others have said it's down to the processing.

Hi T. Just catching up on the last couple of days. Great use of your daughter yesterday and lovely colours in the bracelets contrasting with the background. I prefer no 1 of today's shots, mostly for the composition.

Phil

Hey T, 2 wonderful shots again today, loving the processing on both. For me the first one just edges it for composition of the shot

shoes.... got to love shoes.. 1st one for me... off centre.. unbalanced.. like me... old and battered.... mmmm... like me.... in need of relacing...yeah./... like me...

..no wait... i was just thinking of me... shoes are in ace condition

Thank you, so it seems grain is in but canvas isn't lol....... although reading comments there is quite a split.... personally i think i would agree with matt and have pic 2 but with pp from #1

#2 for me, T. Love it!! I love a bit of grain! :D

Hehe i struggle with it but it is good to experiment and see such mixed reactions:D

You need re-lacing kev?;)

Very cool shoe shots, #2 is my fav.

Thanks Tim:D

1 or 2, 2 or 1.
Hmmmm....

The mere fact I am struggling suggests its too close to call :D

Great use of you daughter yesterday as previously stated....might have to think about including my two in some more images too....easy targets, just expensive to bribe...

Day 9 and i would like to throw my laptop out of the window... stamp on it... drive over it and anything else it warrants!.......

It was for once a sunny day today so out i go thinking 'YES'.... pop to Ravensthorpe Reservoir because it's always nice down there.... get some shots come home and have a little look and edit.......Alls good!........

In the meantime i've been having lots of problems with laptop, i don't have an external hard drive as yet, i know they're not all that much but there is always something else kids need and they have to come first..... but lappy is constantly running in the red so i have to delete most of my work lately..... ..

Except somehow i managed to delete half of the photos i took today..:bonk::bang::bonk::bang:

So tonights shot is now not what i had originally planned but a last minute pick of what few were left!......... and i am tired so i'm sure i have probably missed loads of real silly bits too

Anyway guess what....... day 10 tomoz.... double figures woohoo!!:woot::woot::woot:

Opps and an edit because i forgot to add photo!... doh!:bonk:

How about some 4gb pen drives and copy some of your photos on to them?
Or does your laptop have a cd or DVD writer?

Well so far i got the most important ones.. mainly kids on random sd cards and memory stick and a few loaded to dropbox.... but i really need to get something because i just can't keep anything i do..

Oh and yes kids are way too expensive to bribe...although pops must have been in a good mood the other night because it only cost a boost bar...:D

Beautiful image so if that was one of the ones you didn't want to use the others must have been gorgeous :) Send me your address through FB message :D Have a spare 4GB memory stick you can have :) I have my external drive as well as an 8GB stick so don't use the 4gb . You are very welcome to it :D

I know how you feel... I have NO PHOTOS pre-Christmas day just passed for the exact same reason :( I can never quite afford a good sized external drive :( I'm hoping to get one for my birthday though... (March)

VERY Nothing worse than seeing something when you think you have all you need and then seeing the price tag and knowing that by the time you have enough to get it, the price will have gone up or you dont need it anymore
Thank Goodness for Ebay I say :D
