Daily T's 365 challenge..... Life begins at 40......

have to concentrate on writing backwards but had plenty of time if I kept the light on as the camera picked it up .... only turned off when I turned the light off .... Great try and great shots :D

So today we have my first attempt at using light..... i had fun but boy do i need to learn to write backwards.......... seriously how hard??!!!!

You know you could just flip the image in post processing right? Or did I just fall into your cunning trap?

Love your last few posts, the ducks and geese in full colour is great but I really love that foggy lane!

OMG!... why didn't i think of that.....:bang::bonk::bang::bonk::bang::bonk:

Thank you..... i'm going to use that foggy lane a few times through the 365... i just wish the tree at the bottom wasn't there!

Catching up T and some cracking shots over the past couple of days :).

The reservoir pics are brilliant, for me I'm preferring the colour version.

The foggy tree lined lane, again a gorgeous pic, and wouldn't mind seeing a mono version of that.

Loving your light drawing shots too. This is somethin I'd like to have a go at too, but hopeless at writing backwards hehehe.

Thanks Simon... going to try the mono on it over weekend... Timmy has just said about flipping image in PP... doh i can't believe i didn't think about that lol

Good try! I tried it once... it was blurry and half the letters were back to front

Haha well it's certainly not as easy as i thought.. i kept running out of time... but i couldn't just write T because thats boring lol

Fun shot yesterday T and something I am going to try at some stage

Just what I was going to say

Must have a go at this myself sometime

Light Graffiti, that is fun! Be warned its quite addictive! One tip, use a slightly longer exposure, so you can write slower or... Make a point out of your torch to avoid light spillage (using cardboard or similar made into a cone on the end of it) and then write the normal way onto a wall or some other background ;)

Seriously? On a wall.... Now that makes it sound easier!... I really enjoyed this night so can see the addiction! :-)
Thanks for tip Ferj!!

Evening my lil Honey monsters... here we are day 12 ... and damn its soooo cold......:(

The other day when i was out and about i see these balancing blocks and thought they would make a pretty cool shot... but... on the way back i came accross the foggy double tree line and obviously that soon became my POTD....

So today in the freezing cold Rat and myself took off to go re-shoot as i wasn't sure what else to do....... blank mind and all that lol

Luckily it was deserted.. (understandable considering the weather).. crouched down between the chains anyone would have thought 'wtf is she doing?'!!..:cuckoo::cuckoo:

So here it is... day 12

I really like that T. I'm not long back from Krakow and, I'm not sure why, but it reminds me quite a lot of Auschwitz. Quite a harrowing feel to it, somehow!

I really like todays photo, T and it really suits the mono. I like how each set of links (chains, whatever) is framed by the last :)

As said, nice mono and depth of field, nice work T.

Great shot Trace and worth looking cuckoo for :)

Thank you Sarah.... Sometimes the cuckoo shots have to be done don't they!

I like that....

Thank you Lee....:D

Thank you Toni....I know what you mean... i think/guess being mono and has that almost desolate feel to it.. abandoned!

Thanks muchly Sam!!:D

Really like that shot Trace. Dof spot on and wonderful detail, and definitely suits mono :D

Thanks Simon!

great use of DOF and mono effect T .. yet another good eye for detail

Thank you muchly Sir:D

Great idea for an image.

Thanks Jeff and for the use of chainsaw... as for green in fog i prob is a touch, tho its not that noticeable on mine screen?

As said, nice mono and depth of field, nice work T.

Thanks Phil i do kinda like the dof shots :D

Hi Trace
I've not had much time to comment on your thread this past week but have been looking in. Some great stuff in here Missus
You are most definitely up and running with mojo back with a vengeance as far as I can see.
I particularly like the umbrella shot, great vibrant colours.
Light grafitti, not something I've tried, done a few light drawings but letters look a bit more troublesome writing backwards and all

You certainly have a photographers eye Trace, todays image case in point. Well seen, composed and shot.

Keep up the great work Trace, I will try and look in through the week but short of time to comment. Iain

Great shot and the processing really works. I like the foreground one coming right in from the bottom of the frame and being OOF.

Excellent shot yesterday, which really suits a mono conversion.

I the WTF is he doing looks off people of a regular basis, I've got to the point that I don't care anymore :D and just get down and do it :D I think that this works well

Sorry Matt..... Read it out of context I'm sure....unhealthy amount of BBC2 series... Bottom

That's a great shot, love the front chains thrown out of focus. Excellent idea :)

Wonderful shot, love the chain inside chain :)

Omg it's me again.... a rather silly fun shot... simply because i had decided to do another portrait today but just couldn't get it right.. I'd like to blame the light the cam the everything and anything but i can't .... it was me!! every shot i took ( which believe me was lots)... i didn't like....I feel quite robotic in front of the camera so each time i tried to relax i would go back and almost shout at myself saying 'why look like that?.. or pull that face?...:lol: or i would be too close or too far.....

Also I thought it would be good to show as well that i do infact wear glasses but because they can be a nightmare with reflection i usually leave them off.. but this didn't seem to bad..

Actually the amount of shots i have where i am almost disappearing is quite comical........ so tonights POTD is..........

ME TELLING MYSELF TO Shhhhhhhhhhhhhh...:D:D
