Trumping

you seem obsessed with this .1 % thing, what I'm suggesting and would be happy to do, is if the hospital saved my daughters life say, and they had a policy of asking for a donation toward treatment I'd be happy to. If I was loaded, I'd happily pay the entire bill
And so would I.

With the country in such a mess just now and kids surviving from food banks, I think that's reasonable. You don't, so if it was voluntary, don't.
Assumption is never a good thing, don't pretend to know what I do or don't. Perhaps best to just listen/read what I actually say opposed to applying an already always listening racquet.

Oh very mature, a grandad resorting to insults to the prime minister. Sure, whatever you say

I'm holding back :D
I'd be happy if everyone was penalised in these austerity cuts equally, but it's pretty obvious it's the low income population are suffering
Carers to the elderly and disabled are being cut, people are being cut off unemployment benefit for ridiculous reasons and the tories are turning a blind eye to corporations dodging tax while helping them out with handouts
It's all very one sided and I so no reason for it being thus. It's just greed, you either like that or you don't.
As for being granda, it may explain why I get annoyed by the elite getting richer. I hoped in my younger days I would leave the world better than I found it but the disparity seems to get worse

And so would I.

If you would, then there's not much to disagree on. Just seems reasonable to me.
I assumed you were against it with your champagne socialist comments, you seemed to be a bit hostile toward the thinking

I don't know why you used quotation marks though, because what you wrote isn't at all what the article said.

yes it does, read under the line under the photograph of said idiot.

Breaking news: Trump supporters in congress are about to launch impeachment proceedings against Obama

I certainly would support it 100%. Obama is now ruling like a dictator mostly through executive orders bypassing congress. Just the precedent alone is too dangerous to allow.

Every president since Grover Cleveland has signed off more executive orders than Obama, some of them exceed him by 100's.
I suppose they were all dictators too.

I'm afraid you'll need to find something else at which to vent your spleen today :D

Executive orders are declining president by president on the whole.

Wow. In case you didn't know, the bloke who runs that website (Alex Jones) is one of the USA's most prominent right wing conspiracy theory nutters. He believes that the US government was responsible (*) for the Oklahoma City bombings and the 9/11 attacks, and and that the moon landings were faked. Not exactly the kind of source you want to go around quoting if you want to have any shred of credibility.

(*) "Responsible" as in they did it, not as in their policies created disaffection which led to it.

What the hell is happening to this place when people use the likes of shouty Alex Jones as a source of news?

For anyone who hasn't seen it yet, Trump launched his first TV ad this week. It's on YouTube here. (It's also on the BBC News here, if you want to avoid the bottomless cesspit which is the YouTube comments section.) It's ... remarkable.

Some things were lost a long time ago...

Ah yes - the famous footage of migrants purportedly crossing the US-Mexican border, which actually turned out to be from Morocco. "It's what the boder might look like if we don't take action" said Trumps campaign team, having been challenged. Still since when has the Trump campaign cared about the truth

Which part do you not agree with and WHY (in detail)?

I don't even know where to start with this.

AJ has never claimed moon landings were faked. Please prove it if you still insist.

It is your right to believe whatever you like about 911. It won't make the official version and less or any more truthful than it is. It is also people's right to question events that receive less than complete explanation. This is called investigative journalism. Personally I have no doubt that Al-qaeda flew the planes in, but the facts like standing down air defence force, insurance claims, and even relationship of alqaeda vs US raise a lot of questions. Even if he is wrong it is certainly right to look at history critically.

The fact that most of US and European mainstream media are owned by top bankers raises a lot of questions. They have their own story and it contradicts what AJ has dug out. They naturally create false stories about him and label him this and that. If you still believe EVERYTHING MSNBC and BBC and alike say then I'm afraid you are missing 50% of the picture. You need to hear both stories and only then you can have a better understanding of what is actually happening.

And regardless if what you still think of non-establishment media, the impeachment debate is going to proceed next week.

They may persue it, they may not.
He may be impeached, he may not.

Personally I doubt it....and certainly not on the grounds of the alleged over use of executive orders; a swift look at the facts shoots that down in flames, and for the Republicans to risk looking even bigger fools than they do already would mean that an Hispanic illegal immigrant would have more chance of winning the presidential election than a Republican.

But whatever occurs I'm 100% sure that no one on either side will neither know or care how much you support them.

"He'll cut the head off ISIS AND TAKE THEIR OIL!" Maybe he'll divide it up amongst other wronged nations, but the ad doesn't say that. (n)

He always makes me wonder, "how bad would things have to get for me to believe this crap?". :D

Dogs and cats, living together......mass hysteria!!! :D

Being raped by drunken ISIS jihadists would do the job?! :)

Why not? Hillary and Obama told us radical Jihad has nothing to do with muslim faith

So you believe what they say.....or you don't believe what they say..?
Flip flop flip flop.

When one is forced to do that because others decide that I have enough money then yes I get hostile about it. If I pay extra or want to donate to charity in which ever way that should be my decision.

But nowhere near as hostile as the Indian restaurant in Suningdale a phew years ago who put a £50 gratuity on the bill for six that I was paying. I asked him why he did that as it was presumptuous and he suggest that I can afford it. I walked out without paying together with my team following a few serious words.

I got to give it to Donald Trump. He does know how to play the game and get world wide free marketing all day long. Very smart move of the team to get the Palin endorsement.

Well it's easy to manipulate the media when you're 'p***ing in the same pot'.

I've read some horrific things about his campaign, but they're hardly going to make it to being 'the story'. It's quite frightening IMHO.

Let's be honest 'the Palin endorsement' ought to be a joke, as relevant as Kenny Everitt and Mrs T, the fact that the right wing press in the States see this as a positive partnership is somewhere between a comedy sketch gone wrong and a nightmare.

Whilst I don't necessarily disagree, I can appreciate the clever strategic moves for full international coverage.

Well Hitler was a charismatic leader who knew how to manipulate the media too. I can't say I think it's clever.

I wonder how much an iPhone or a laptop or whatever will cost if he makes them manufacture them in the states... The man clearly doesn't understand how the technology market works.
