I'm looking for a tripod for my gear and I'm torn between several options!
I'll be using it for mostly outdoor work, mainly for hiking, so weight will be an issue. So far I've found several options that each seem to have pros/cons:
Manfrotto 190CX series
Rednsapper
Redsnapper Carbon
I understand the Manfrotto 190 is a bit smaller than the Redsnappers, I'm not sure how much of a problem that will be though. The standard redsnapper seems fairly heavy at 1.9kg, and although the carbon is 1.6kg it's still a lot heavier than the 190CX at 1.3kg. The redsnappers of course have the advantage of being bigger and cheaper but I'm not sure how build compares?
It's a shame I can't try out the redsnappers in a shop to get an idea of the weight difference
Has anyone compared some of these tripods before?
